Great Smart TV with lots of apps – The Samsung Smart TV has all the usual smart apps built in which is great. The picture and sound quality is also very good. The tv has HDMI inputs, and a LAN port for internet which helps with streaming apps.

2 years 4 months and the TV has blown with a $650 quote to repair!!!! – The Samsung 43" TV was purchased in December 2018 for around $800. It is out of warranty. The TV blew 4 months after the warranty ended. Samsung Service was awful. After 45min on their chat helpline the agent would not pass on any service details. We had just purchased another Samsung 75" TV before the 43" blew up. This TV is being returned as Samsung TVs do not last and they have extortionate service costs.  Show details

POOR QUALITY – Absolutely poor quality from Samsung. As with every other Samsung tv's common problem the led diffusers have come loose after only 18 months. It started to happen after 6 months and Samsung wanted nothing to do with it. Show details

Not the highest end, but sufficient – I purchased this TV for use in my entertainment and gaming setup at home. In terms of general TV watching consumers, this would be a well rounded purchase at a more than reasonable price. However, its gaming performance was quite poor and lacks the specs required for an adequate gaming experience. great tv – the Samsung TV is good value for around $1000, being able to watch youtube from the Ipad is a really good feature. the only issue is when trying to see what is on the channels can take time as it continually needs to cconect to the internet and the NBN is not very helpful in this situation. the Freeview could be a bit smoother to operate as well.  Show details

optical and not the usual 3.5mm audio jack. Gets very annoying if you want to attach old speakers that don't have optical input. Had to buy Tosslink box from e bay and seperate audio Jacks.

do crash on occasion, but can be easily fixed by restarting the TV by holding down the power button on the remote for ~5 seconds.

Do note that while you can cast from your smartphone to the TV if there is a compatible app installed on the TV (such as Netflix or YouTube), there is no actual Chromecast functionality built in to the TV, so if you rely on Chromecast you will have to keep one plugged in to the TV.

Undoubtedly the best feature of the TV in my mind is the new simplified Samsung One remote. It also has programmable universal remote functionality, meaning you can use it to control set top boxes and HT receivers, though I have had some difficulty controlling the volume on my receiver occasionally depending on the TV input source selected.

Excellent TV for the price and a great size for a small room – I bought this TV for my sister for Christmas when JB were having a sale. The 4K picture quality is amazing and the TV is so slim. The picture quality is fantastic and the fact it's a smart TV is awesome as we were able to easily setup netflix and stan, as well as plugging in a USB to watch movies and TV shows so easily.  Show details

Good at a reasonable price – Very happy with this small Samsung 43” 4K TV, we purchased it in the Boxing Day sales for our bedroom. Easy setup, Great picture – I've owned a Samsung TV years ago and was not disappointed, so happy to try a later model and extremely glad we did! V tuner is great at picking up weak signals and the EPG is easy to use. Relatively good response times for a TV (~20ms), so not the worst thing to game on, but not as good as a proper monitor. Great picture, excellent value – Picture quality is excellent, especially when playing games or viewing BluRay movies through the XBox One. Speakers are okay, as would be expected for a flat screen tv. We feed the sound through our Yamaha amplifier. Excellent array of inputs/ports. absolutely love it – The thing I love about this t.v. is the built in selection of u-tube, Stan and all the other options that just have to be selected to watch. It is so easy! The smart remote makes it simple to use and the picture is great. apps working Cz there was “no internet” even when connected. Netflix and Stan barely even load, when they do, 90% of time it drops out, loses sound, moves to a new episode in the middle of the last one! I’m done, I want a refund!

Good tv – Quite happy with this purchase. The picture quality is very good , the smart component of the tv works well. the only negative would be the sound. Unfortunately the speakers aren’t as good as our last tv. The tv has all the necessary ports. All round still good tv !!  Show details
