Terrible software issues - multiple failures – The picture quality and utilities are excellent and functional. The EPG, recording facility, and apps keep failing or deleting themselves from the menu. The EPG caused the whole TV to freeze and mute every single time it is selected - to look at what's on (EPG) which is pretty much every time you go to change the channel, the whole TV freezes… Read more
and mutes and the guide hangs on screen, I need to exit out and go back in every time I want to look at what's on.
The apps that have been download (SBS on demand, ABC iView, 9 NOW, 10 Play, Youtube, etc.) keep disappearing from the home page and you need to hunt around the system looking for them, this is a software issue and is quite problematic.
Not good enough for such an expensive TV.
Poor smart features – I thought by having a Samsung s7 edge phone this tv would integrate easily for streaming video apps as my previous tv had inbuilt Chromecast and worked really well it wasn't a Samsung though. This tv just really sucks at screen mirroring the picture looks fine on the phone but comes out all scrambled on the tv the only option I have to stream from… Read more
phone is smart view (no casting options available between these Samsung devices) So can't multitask as I did with the TCL television. I seem to have had problems with pretty much everything Ive bought with the Samsung brand on it. Must be a sign!

A Little Dissapointed – Great hd displayed broadcasts , very poor sd content quality, also sport content eg football blurrs the moving ball, not a high speed tv at all, needs a soundbar to give descent vocals, I chose this tv for mainly sport viewing, hence my heading Show details

Terrible – Really bad motion blur. Samsung admitted there was a fault and replaced the mother board and screen. Problem still wasn’t fixed. They then told me the was working within its limitations and it was because I was not watching 4K content. The technician then played Samsung’s 4K content with the same motion blur. 18months on and I am still stuck with a terrible tv and no solution!! Show details
Amazing picture, "smart features" let it down at times – Using our TV connected directly to Media Centre PC via 4k. Picture is great, using direct HDR works OK after a lot of mucking around to get the TV to behave. Biggest issue is all the smart features on the TV interfering. Samsung really need to just have a "dumb display" option that just make the screen a monitor in a sense. All the rubbish like… Read more · 1
"eco mode", auto dimming, HDR over complication, much more..! just annoys and gets in the way.
Otherwise yeah once you get it working right its a great TV. I have always gone Samsung with Plasma then LCD and have always found their screens the best.
Exceeds all expectations – Basically, short and sweet. This TV is discontinued. But if you’re lucky enough to find one on EBay, grab it. Why buy an OLED or QLED? This beast of a TV beats both of their picture quality’s (in my opinion) I done extensive research and I’m so happy I ended up with picking this Samsung. Show details · 1
Great Smart TV, easy to use – Really easy to use with “app” like menu features making switching from live TV to Netflix and YouTuve and so on so easy. Picture quality is so good that regular live tv channels don’t look good unless you switch to their HD alternatives to really enjoy the viewing pleasure of a high definition tv. The smart remote is also very handy but takes some getting used to if you’re used to using a million buttons! Show details
best curve TV – the picture quality is really good and also the options are very user friendly. got 2 remote with it, one is the joystick which is very easy to search things on youtube. builtin apps are really good and helpful too. also you dont really need a soundbar as the sound quality is very good. highly recommended. Really good sound and when paired up with a Samsung sound bar, its like being at the movies. really easy to use Apps and browse the internet on this smart TV. A+ Show details
love Samsung tv – Samsung has and always will deliver the best of quality not only do I have the Samsung 65inch tv my phone is Samsung my fridge is Samsung I can honestly say spend that little extra you won't regret it many of my friends went cheaper option and regretted it . Show details
Great image – Picture quality is excellent. The remote takes a while to get to know how to use it, but it's pretty good once you figure it out. Two annoying things: 1. The connection to the internet often drops out meaning that the network needs to be reset. 2. The universal remote feature does not turn my digital receiver on and off when I turn the TV on and off meaning that I need to use two remotes. Show details
Easy to use – i find this tv to be handy and useful. The remote is easy to understand and light weight. The functions for accessing other products is helpful. Accessing the internet and netflix is a handy function. The clarity of the tv is great making watching enjoyable. Thanks for the clarity . Show details

The Smart tv is awesome I love the remote mouse & the options I get with apps & internet. YouTube is a breeze & I can connect my mobile very quickly with no dramas. Only just replaced my remote batteries once! Show details
Faulty from the start – Had a Samsung TV for years with no issues. Upgraded for Christmas and the picture had horizontal lines in it which affected picture quality. Agreed to have the panel replaced but the replacement was faulty with a broad black area running vertically down the middle of the screen. Samsung warranty staff were unhelpful and slow to respond and did not… Read more
provide good customer service. Didn't return calls didn't have the facts straight. Eventually got a new TV. But I am wary about trusting the quality of product and commitment to service from today's Samsung.
Super clear screen – This size Tv is so amazing. The definition with the HD is awesome. I can watch videos from my phone on the TV. The controls are easy to follow. I haven't used the 3D option. This TV is so slender for the screen size. Documentaries are so life like, and sharp. Show details
Beautiful for slow moving TV/Games – Firstly, it should be noted that I didn't purchase this TV. Its a warranty replacement fir a series 6, 60in Samsung. So I'm trying to put myself in the shoes of someone who paid $3k+. The TV is used mostly for streaming (Netflix, Stan) and gaming (xbox one original). Free to air TV looks terrible on this screen. The streaming looks *REALLY*… Read more
good. HDR/4k of Netflix looks superb. Stan looks great too. However once the scenes speed up (car chases/fighting/action etc) you notice a bit more jutter than you'd expect for a '200hz' screen. No blurring. Within the TV setup menu's there are different ways to try and reduce this juddering effect, but I have not had the time to get into it and feel I'd have to do a lot of background reading to understand what I'm doing and how to get the most of out this TV.
The sound is surprisingly good! I really don't feel the need to add a soundbar, etc, to this TV. Unless you want high end 5.1 sound.
There are 4 HDMI, one optical, one co-ax and 2 USB ports in the break out box. There is an extra USB port and network cable port on the back of the TV.
The OS, apps and general functionality of the TV's basic menus are great. Easy to use. Intuitive. Can't fault it. I haven't enabled voice commands so I can't comment on that function of the remote. When you get into the more technical side of things you really need to know what you're doing, or you'll be hitting the 'restore default settings' often. The remote is simple. Very simple. But also very functional. The remote can integrate with other devices easily. Thats a nice feature. WARNING - Don't break it as there are no buttons on the TV itself.
In summary, the TV is great with slower moving shows and games. Higher paced shows/games get a bit much for the TV to handle. Glad I didn't pay anywhere near full price.
excellent bright n top of all – I have used Sony and hi sense previously. This time i decided to put more money n buy samsung.Seriously after all it is the top in TV's colours features apps sound everything perfect.very easy to us for oldies as well.Kids love it.easy to attach with internet and enjoy 4k at home. Fantastic TV – Fantastic 4k picture watching youtube and netflix this is all I watch so its awesome. Normal live TV if not in HD it looks crap but then again who watches non HD? Nice thin Bezels as well. Built in speakers are ok but I mean if you are getting this type of tv budget in for soundbar it will make a world of difference. I personally got the Samsung… Read more
M360 to go with it and never looked back. The other cool thing about this tv is it has a hub where you can have all your connections like ps4 xbox hdmi and digital inputs going in too so you dont have all these cords going into the back of the tv. Very Neat!
My only grip is probably the remote its pretty small and basic some may like it but I wouldn't minded if it had numbers on it and a few other smart functions. Other than that it's a very solid and capable TV which should last a long time.
Love this TV – Was a no brainer. On special.. Upgrade from Okano 55". and wow. It has integrated with all my houses tech. Phones, pc, internet, PS4, I love the fact that I talk into the remote for most of the searches and command I want it to do. The blacks are very black even though it's not OLED. Show details

Good quality TV with some well thought out details – We purchased a 65" Samsung UHD TV that was on sale to upgrade from a 2012 55"Samsung we had. Lovely detailing particulary with the neat cable management although our internet is connected with an ethernet cable to the TV ( more secure than using WiFi) and the cable is visible and not hidden like the power/Samsung cable. We have a Samsung sound… Read more
bar and Blu-ray recorder which paired easily to the supplied remote. Almost as convenient as the Logitech all in one remote we were using.
The picture is pretty ordinary on standard definition TV and pretty good on HD TV, but in some instances, the picture and sharpness of moving images was better on our 2012 55" Full HD Samsung with its 200Mhz refresh rate which is what this new Samsung has supposedly. Have fiddled extensively with picture settings but obviously the Ultra High Def is only apparent when playing UHD content through an appropriate player or other.
Still, it is a very nice TV for not a crazy price and is quick to start up and load TV guide, apps etc.
I am sold on Samsung Televisions – Purchased as a gift for family member in June 2017 who raved and raved so much so that i purchased one for our home the following September. The picture quality is bang on and I love the cable management concept - no more messy leads running out the back. Big discounts can be had by the savvy buyer, the second one i purchased cost me $1k less… Read more
only 3 months after i purchased the first.
My only negative observation would be the speed the memory (refresh) lacks when scrolling through the TV guide on screen quickly as it lacks the ability to keep up with your navigation ie there is a lag.
I am delighted with my purchase made sweeter by the substantial discount i received second time around.
Beast of a tv – Bought this 65inch 4k led LCD tv may 2017. What a great tv it has been. Although I had 2 dead pixels Samsung in home serviced replaced the screen immediately and have not had any problems since. Picture quality is great and the smart tv apps are great makes watching Netflix and stan a breeze would recommend to anyone looking for a good 4k tv under $3000 Show details
Impressive – I just bought this TV for my Bday pressie - so far so good, wow was a challenge to buy a 65" in the first place as the cabinet I have I had limited space and couldn't go over 1450 in width and this TV was the only one to do it with 1mm to spare on each side. The picture is sharp as, very blackish blacks and 200mhz so its ideal for gaming or… Read more
sports, the response time is quite adequate I don't know what it is officially but im guessing its below 8ms I say its about a 5 due to gaming hasn't been impaired but also what I have noticed that the input response time is very well achieved - yes there are two response times - 1 being from the screen in adaptive changes of light pixel and the other is the response time for input devices to screen which is a little more important in regards to gaming - I would say its on the low scale
Now I was sceptical about buying a Samsung as haven't had too much success in the past - so early days yet in regards to the lifetime of this product so all I can comment on is immediate responses. The picture is fantastic, the features of the tv brilliant - using my tablet on youtube I can just press a button and transfer it to this screen a hand feature to have. The tv remote is nice, small and robust in regards to controlling multiple devices, attaching my pc to the screen it comes out great - its bright and very well blacked when needs to be for a led compared to oled - the 4k is brilliantly sharp and the setup of the tv was easy - even was impressed on the box as that had little clips to easily take the box off the tv so that was something new to myself - im guessing its a norm now but used to the designs where you had to maneuverer the tv out of the box - the stand are simply applied also
I gave this 4 out of 5 stars for the simple reason I haven't had it long and time will tell but so far all favourable - another thing I have noticed with the tv it has voice recognition now I kind of feel iffy on this cause I don't like the idea of something connected to the internet where people can hack and record conversations - now I know previously in the past the uk defence force was actually hacking into peoples consoles and utilizing their cameras and audio as a report came out a few yrs ago so I have this function turned off
The smart tv part well you have Netflix installed and a few others - im yet to tinker around with this and not quite sure on what other apps I can apply so far it looks like its all media based movies and tv series - it does an ok up scaling picture to 4k but have an amp that does that also
