Good size 5 yrs still going well – Good sized basic microwave. Easy to use, does the job well. I did not think it was too noisy.....may be just little compared to new ones. Have been having it for well over 5 years and works just fine. But I may change it if it still does not break after another couple of years :-) happy customer :) Show details
Poor quality in terms of finish – After 18 months of use there is serious bubbling and rusting of paintwork on the inside 'ceiling' as well as paint off in a large area of the door frame potentially affecting seal. Also the automatic opener no longer works and as there is no handle this makes it difficult to use (have had to put on a suction hook). Although it heats food… Read more
reasonably, it is basically a piece of rubbish. The size suited me - not too big, not too small It needs throwing out after 18 months
Terrible – Not worth it, by an LG at least. Im surprised Samsung have not recalled them! Not worth the hassel believe me! It is a cheap microwave. As a seller the amount of returns i get is rediculous! Most of them the paint peels or they just stop working completely!
OK – We were given this second hand and have been really happy with it. I only really use it to reheat or defrost, not to 'cook'. The functions work well for what I need it for. The carousel comes out easy to clean but can be a bit fiddly to get back in. Heats well, good functions (like defrost) and simple controls. It has a range of shortcut options… Read more
which can be good - especially like the one-push 30 second button which I use all the time. Interferes with our TV reception which is very odd... makes you wonder what else the microwaves are effecting that you can't see...
Good – I was thinking of buying an El-Flasho MW but on reading the reviews in here of all the trouble people have with expensive units I decided to go cheaper end of the market so it's no drama if I need to replace it in a few years. For under $100- it does everything I need which is just the basic stuff - defrosting and reheating. Samsung seems to get… Read more
generally good reviews which swayed me towards this unit.
Lastly, my wife insisted the "ready" signal wasn't a screech - this one is fine, four beeps that won't deafen you. Small, well priced and simple to use.
Good shortcut buttons (who ever uses anything else?) Louder than most Microwaves I've heard - especially the first few seconds.
OK – Overall a decent sized basic microwave. Simple control pad, once you get used to it (no numbers), generally works well. It is however rather noisy and the outer casing starts vibrating noisily if on high for more than 4 minutes. Must be very thin steel. Also sends my digital TV reception into a frenzy when operating. Have had this for about 3… Read more
months now, only use about 3 times a week. An OK unit for my needs, and the cons I can handle, being only used for 15 minutes or so a week. Well priced, good size. 2 year warranty. Easy to use. Rather noisy.
Disappointed. Will not purchase a Samsung again – I have had this Samsung microwave for 2 years and 3 months, so it is just out of the 2 year warranty. While using it last night I heard a bang. After that, by all appearances, it still seemed to "work", that is it started OK, but the food was not being heated. This is disappointing, because it has been cared for. Of course I will be out… Read more
tomorrow looking for a new one, because they are not worth repairing - I will be looking to recycle it if possible, due to the environmental waste these short lived things create. The small size (not always easy to find one small enough). I expected it should last a couple of years longer than it did.
