This review has been left as part of a promotion by Samsung. Attractive design with good picture quality with standard viewing but noticeable blurring with fast action shots. Reasonable price and no breakdowns in 3 years. Sound quality acceptable… Read more
allthough not brilliant without a sound bar. Remote control is compact but too complicated and difficult to find infrequently used functions.
Major disappointments are that the TV loses connectivity to a Samsung sound bar (HW-A650 bought at the same time) requiring a reboot on a regular basis and will not pair with my Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones. I have contacted customer support on many occasions but just get fobbed off each time, as many others also have been, as posted on many online forums.
Follow-up · I need to reboot the TV several times a week, when it loses connectivity with my Samsung sound bar. Sometimes just changing the channel will suffice, but sometimes I have to turn the TV off and on again. I just leave picture settings on default or standard settings, otherwise difficult to find settings again if need to change then. If… Read more
Just won’t turn on, was working in the morning – Got on to the help line that just wants money, absolute waste of time. Paid for the unit 6 weeks later it arrived, thanks Harvey Norman. Has been a long sad experience.. Let’s see what Harvey will do for us, or do we never go back. Show details

Seriously? 15 months and it's cactus – This TV worked satisfactorily until this morning...after explaining symptoms/issues to a qualified electronics repair service, I was told that it was more in need of repair. A factory reset not possible from where I sit because the screen is blacked out, audio intermittent, have unplugged and turned on...only for video to disappear after 10… Read more
seconds or so...doesn't respond to remote on/off...Harvey Norman says it's out of warranty...by 3 months...good luck...should have bought Extended Warranty.... AND ....SAMSUNG?? Well, you can't even contact this company...the phone just gets cut off! ...must be too many customers complaining about faulty products! This product does not pass muster IMO if its already f.....d

Great except for one thing – If the video is dark there are white patches visible. Have had long conversations with Samsung but got nowhere. Had to send in photos of the problem, then videos (they said they could not view the video which was taken on my iPhone.) took screenshots of the video and sent those. Then they wanted photos with the lights in the room on and with the… Read more
lights off. This went on for weeks. The operator was very polite but would take many 3 minute breaks to confer with someone senior who I was unable to talk to. Finally head technicians decision was that the white patches were within the specifications for the TV! I wish Bing Lee had told me when I bought the TV that I should expect light patches whenever the picture was dark. Felt Samsung were just stalling. 1 year warranty expires on 6 Dec.

Long-time brand user most recent Q60 purchase advice: dont buy this model ever no matter hown cheap they offer – May be 70, 75 or 85 model look more appealing but this particular model 60 even at the huge discount not worth it buying as it would only make your angry especially if you experienced previous superb quality of Samsung. Luckily I am getting refund from my seller otherwise I would be wasting my money and temper even having 450 discount on this TV,… Read more
having to deal with: 1. Very bad reflection during the day with no sun 2. Even high contrast / colour setting are very dull and boring 3. Motion lag can make you frustrated 4. It brought opposite emotions what I experienced with my previous Samsung TVs. 5. Very angry at this model, only their superb customer service and my sell customer satisfaction guarantee makes it more painful to watch this tv until it will be picked up on the refund
Terrible experience. I would recommend everyone avoid purchasing a Samsung Tv – Extremely disappointing I purchase a brand new Samsung Q60a 75inch last month for Xmas As soon as I opened and tested the television it was faulty. I immediately called the store of purchase (goodguys Bathurst) and notified them the new tv I had just purchased is faulty and I'd like to return or exchange it. They informed me they can not accept… Read more
returns or exchanges from Samsung as they have a policy you must deal with them directly. Goodguys started this process immediately and at first Samsung were very quick to contact me. I was informed they were sending someone to asses the tv. After waiting a few days I called back and explained I had not been contacted. I was then told by Samsung it would be escalated and resolved within 1-2 working days. After waiting over a week I called back and was told exactly what I was told over a week ago. I asked to speak to a supervisor as my son and I have been without a tv for 2 weeks now and I wanted a resolution. The supervisor then told me what I was told over a week ago, that it would be escalated and id receive a call within 1-2 days and could not give me a date it would have a resolution. This is completely unexceptable. If Samsung have a policy where you can not return their televisions to the store of purchase then they need to be able to resolve any issues themselves in a professional, timely manner. It is ridiculous to leave people without a tv for weeks and no way of returning it, even when the unit was faulty from the first second it was opened and tested. I would recommend anyone thinking of purchasing a Samsung television look at an alternative, because if you buy a faulty unit you will not be able to return it to the store of purchase and be left without a television for weeks, possibly months. Simply not worth the hassle I will never purchase another Samsung product again and encourage everyone I know to do the same. Avoid Samsung televisions.
Good sound, good picture, not so smart remote and NO ACCESS to remote control TV via IP – We have purchased that model after lenghly research and comparisson. Our aim was a larger screen ( previous Sony TV Bravia 55") and much better OS because the Sony failed after updates to handle Iview and Youtube ( constant memory issues). The Samsung Q60A was indefinitly a good choice in terms of picture quality ( ok slighly shadows at the… Read more
corners, however we watchting movies in the center and it lacks on SD, however who is still watching SD) BUT whats really good is the speed to access the OS, Youtube any any other function a clear indicator that the OS processor, memory and firmware are working good together. But the biggest problems for me at the moment after 7 days having this screen on the wall: 1. the also recommended TV bracket from the good guys is clearly an understatement as the TV cannot be secured by the screws from the bottom as there is clearly no space to reach the screws. May not a problem from samsung. 2. Indefinitley a massive stepback: The TV offers a so called IP remote ( to connect a IP connected device to remote control the TV). This enables to set settings on the TV to sort the programs or other settings via PC. Even after enabling that function the internal webserver of that TV refused any connection. A lenghly discussion with Samsung support unveals that this function doesnt exists. So the sorting can only be done by that flimsy not so smart TVhand held remote. A nightmare when sorting 200+ cjhannels to the prefferred 10 channels. Awaiting now a bluetooth keyboard for direct webbrowsing, hopefully that this will working....... Lesson learned: Next time I will bombard the Manufacturer with detailed questions as it is clear that we cannot trust the sales at the store when they telling you: aaahhh no worries all TV´s today can be accessed by PCs
TV Panel Faulty after only 4 months | No Stock | Still under Warranty | Samsung is very slow to action – The TV went into endless on-and-off cycle with black screen about 4 months after the purchase. I have contacted Samsung for assistance, as the TV is till well within Warranty period. The technician (a subcontractor to Samsung) came two days later and established that the panel is faulty and there is no stock available. He referred the case back to… Read more
Samsung. However, one full week later Samsung is still "reviewing the case" without any clear indication on what they intend to do about their faulty product that is still under warranty. No ETA has been given for the resolution. I have followed up a few times over the phone, only to be told by overseas call centre staff that "someone will call tomorrow to discuss the next step", which didn't happen. I am still to receive any advice, which is very disappointing.
Based on my experience, I don't recommend this TV. Samsung customer services is substandard considering the price of the TV, and it is absolutely unacceptable to leave your customers in dark waiting for such an expensive product to be replaced or repaired.
If you don't want to pay a lot of money for a TV only to have it die on you relatively quickly without proper service and replacement or repair under warranty within reasonable time, then don't buy Samsung.
Following up, I have still not received any update from Samsung. It appears that Samsung is using… Read more
Wouldn't reccomend – I upgraded from the 65' UA65NU7100 *crystal* And to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. This is supposedly the upgraded and newer better version... which it is not. If you watch anything that has speed in it ie' sports, action movies, even kids cartoons it's incredibly horrible picture, it's not only jittery but something weird happens… Read more
where there are chunks/blocks around the moving object. I have tried to adjust the settings and nothing changes. For the price it's not worth it.
The only upside was that the sound quality is really good... but that is pretty worthless when the picture quality is horrible.
