Worst tv purchase ever – I am going to start by saying I used to work for a "certain" company and I bought this tv just before I left. I wad the LED technician for the commercial panels. This tv is junk. It has the worst clouding, picture quality and lighting I have ever seen. You can't even tell the difference between 1080p and 4k. I will be taking samsung to tribunal and they can deal with giving me my money back. Waste of money! Do not buy!! Show details

Poor Quality TV, Worst Customer Experience from Samsung and Good Guys – Purchased 85" TV on recommendation of Good Guys sales rep and we traditionally trusted Samsung products. Added Concierge service / Extended Warranty as it was expensive. Out of the box, noted really bad clouding on black screens and night time in movies etc. Really annoying. Contacted Samsung. After multiple images sent, videos shared, firmware… Read more

updates, weeks turned into months. Samsung finally responded that this is an entry level TV and this level of clouding is typical. No remedy offered. Contacted Good Guys who said that as it was Concierge Service, they would take up the discussion with Samsung. And perhaps consider replacement as it was poor from day 1. Weeks turned to months, Good Guys advised that maybe we just deal with Samsung. Fortunately, and probably sue to TV being a lower quality entry level, the TV developed red vertical lines. Samsung agreed to finally repair the screen.

Would I recommend this TV? Absolutely NOT, for over $3k you may was well buy 3 x Aldi TV's. As an entry level, many cheaper options out there.

Would I Buy other Samsung products? Given the poor service and them not standing behind their product, I would first look for better value. Their Brand doesn't hold weight like it used to.

Appauling Samsung Service – Purchased a q60a 85 inch in early January 21. From the first day it produced quite a good picture straight on, but The dulled off quickly at angles, even slight angles past 10 degrees, but we accepted that. What I couldn't accept was the massive clouding issues the television had. After much consultation with Samsung service, which was an… Read more

absolute farce & time wasting exercise, We were eventually told that this was an acceptable level of clouding for this television, see attached photos. You could see it in low light level movie scenes quite easily. Samsung wiped their hands of fixing or replacing the TV.

There was an upside to all this, we had purchased the television from JB Hi-Fi and we were guaranteed from the manager of the store, that if we weren't happy with the television we could swap it for a television of the same or greater value, we ended up with a Sony xj90 through them and it's an absolute gem thank you JB.

Worst experience. I would recommend everyone avoid purchasing a Samsung Tv – I bought Samsung Q60A 85” TV on 28th Jan, still struggling to get an appropriate answer from Helpdesk. Every time they take one hour to verify order and promis to deliver with in 5 days. Unfortunately my tv is not yet delivered. I will make sure that no one from community to chose Samsung. Such worst customer support and really bad response . I… Read more

Very bad picture quality – Purchased this TV around 8 weeks ago and after contacting the Samsung tech support to try and improve the picture quality it is no better now than before. The Tech that supported me was very helpful and I do not blame him for not being able to fix the problem as we tried everything. Changed the Ariel hoping that would improve but to no avail. I… Read more

have a 6 year old TV that has a better picture than this new one. Everything else with this TV is good but not excellent. The operating system is quick and apps work really good. Seems strange that one of the HDMI ports on the back is sticking outwards instead of sideways like the other 2 which means if you are using all 3 you are unable to put the TV close to the wall as intended!!. Setting up was easy along with the Samsung soundbar which sounds really good. This TV was a good purchase except for the picture quality which has made me very disappointed with the whole purchase. To be completely honest to anyone thinking of purchasing this TV I would think twice!!

Good, not great – Bought this in early Sept ‘21. Very impressed how thin the screen is. We hung it on our wall using the Samsung bracket which leaves almost no gap between the wall and screen. Picture quality is what you would expect and happy with the range of apps available. But. The apps regularly crash or refuse to load. No network issues, the tv just needs to… Read more

be switched off at the wall for a few seconds. Minor issue but very annoying when you have to do it two or three times some days. Everything else works fine and is otherwise a good tv. Uses a LOT of power but to be expected from such a big screen I guess.
