still leaks. After 1.5 years the drum broke and was replaced under warranty. This week (almost 1.5 years since the replacement drum) the drum has broken again and ripped apart the inside of the machine, the repairman decomissioned the machine as it was unsafe to use. I am yet to hear back from Samsung about whether they will repair the machine again as they claim it is outside of warranty, however I would be unsatisfied with anything but a refund at this point as it is not a machine I want to continue using, it is unreliable and of poor build quality.

Terrible machine – Moves all over the place its so noisy it doesn't wash properly leaves stains on clothes so sorry I bought it ....its going back thats for sure unfortunately so disappointed  Show details

was a better washer. Yeah, no it's not. Here is my list of faults; - Wifi an utter waste of time and gimmick. The Wifi disconnects when the machine turns off. So I cant even check what the machine is up to. - Front door leaks. Doesn't matter what is in the machine the door will leak. - Rattles and Squeaks - Anyone would think this thing was a 20 year old Hoover top loader with a pair of shoes bouncing around in it (yes I have removed the transportation bolts and levelled the feet!) and the back cover rattles. - Pump makes all kinds of loud abnormal sounds. - Sometimes gets stuck on a cycle and won't finish unless I pause the machine and start it again. - Back agitator plate in a gimmick. Its always moving in the same direction. - Still uses a belt and pulley system for the motor. Not direct drive like the LG. My honest opinion. It's rubbish buy something else. Mine is due to get repaired, but it is going straight back to the store for a different machine.

Love it – Just the right size for medium family. 8.5 kilo. Large array of washes unlike my old machine. Does a great wash. Much better than my previous top loader. Hold 4 peoples washing every two days with ease. Quiet while running, definitely recommend. Good price saved $100 purchasing from goodguys ebay store. Show details

Good machine, with lots of options – I was apprehensive about going from a top loader to a front loader due to renovations and space constraints. The cycles don't seem to take that much longer, but I like the option of the fast 15 minute wash. Also happy with the add wash door. cycle. The add wash door allows me to add these items in without having to wait for the next load. Also loving the wash to dry option. This simply means that I can have clothes washed and dried in the one cycle without having to touch anything. I haven't tried the WiFi start yet, but it's handy to get the notifications once the load has finished. I use the delayed start time feature more than the WiFi start. Bonus points for the little jingle that plays once the cycle has finished. My kids love to do a little dance to it every time!

Great Washer – Was hesitant at first as we had a front loader before. Excellent machine with 15 minute fast wash, can open door during cycle and it has a small door also. Has agitator at the back and sides. We have recently upgraded from a popular brand top loader and would never go back. The only issue is that they don’t sell a pedastel for this model.  Show details

Not happy – Machine changes program after 1.08 seconds from a 1 hour to a 3 hour with. Parts replaced twice with technician saying he has no idea why. Replace 3 days ago, same thing, all on video for them to see. Time for money back I think.  Show details

back to me within 48 hours with a resolution. I rang back a week later and they gave me the same responce , I rang the retailer and they replaced it after Samsung wouldn't respond to them either. Same issue and there's now a defect in the plastic. I wouldn't recommend Samsung washing machine WW85M74FNOR - 8.5KG Front load washer Due to 2 faulty machines, terrible customer service and a cheap product with expensive price tag.

Noisy At First but Still Worth It – Upgraded our old Samsung which is still going strong 20yrs on and the youngest has it now! This one was noisy at first which we were upset about, but we thought give it a chance, glad we did after about 6/7 washes the noise went. The washes are as always superb. The Add Door is a great advantage as well as the gentle reminder to clean the drum. Hopefully it lasts at least as long as the last one :)  Show details

you can hear 3 rooms away. I have had no satisfaction from customer service, as apparently because it washes your clothes it is within the specifications of the machine. I would not recommend this machine to my worst friend, do yourself a favour do not buy

Nice and Quick! – Very happy with our new washing machine. Wash cycle is quick and the quality of the wash was been good every time as well. i also really like Add Door, which I use for jumper that I just need to spin dry. Would definitely recommend.
