Excellent – I had this phone when I lived in America and I only wish the American ones worked here. It was the best phone I ever had, if you can get it here I would highly recommend it! I loved the design of it, the screen stays safe from scratches. Really nice looking, small and I love the flip design. Screen is clear and this phone has good volume and… Read more ·  1

clear sound. There was nothing I didn't like about this phone, except that I haven't actually found it here in Australia (had it in America and that one doesn't work here)

Good – I've had this phone for more than 4 years now & I'm still using one of the original two batteries that came with the phone. I've had my phone turned on ~24/7 in that time. Previous to this I had a Samsung CDMA phone which I loved also, but I changed over to GSM due to the inevitable CDMA phase out. I just love this phone. The easy to use… Read more

menu system is set up in a grid-like pattern so you just have to scroll across to each menu setting heading and then scroll down through the options under each of the headings. It also has a short-cut system, for the functions you use most often, where you can enter the menu system and then just enter two numbers;(e.g. to set the three alarms avalaible you select 'menu,5,5').

The screen is light & clear & easy to read. Whereas I've noticed a lot of the new phones seem to have black backgrounds, which makes the phone look more stylish perhaps, but can make the screen difficult to read!

When the front flip is closed the front window tells you all you need at a glance; the time, date, phone reception & battery life. To view this front screen at night you just have to open it the phone up (halfway) & close it again to activate the background light so you can still read all of these details.

You can set the phone to simply hang-up once you close the phone.

You also don't have to continuously be locking the keypad because with the keys tucked away inside there is no fear of accidentally phoning someone.

I'm a tall female (1.8m) & having a flip-phone is excellent because once I open it up to answer a call it gives me something to hold onto without looking stupid. Some of the newer models of mobiles are just so tiny & the keys are so fiddly to press they go way beyond being 'human-friendly'!

I've dropped it ~10 times onto concrete & it still functions perfectly well & with surprisingly very minor (almost unnoticeable) damage to the casing! MENU SET-UP, PHONEBOOK HAS MULTIPLE INFO ENTRIES FOR EACH PERSON INCLUDING THE CONTACT PERSON'S MOB. PHONE #,HOME #,WORK #,FAX #,OTHER #, EMAIL ADDRESS (which just becomes an open text box so you can add whatever info you would like to),PLUS YOU CAN ALLOCATE AN INDIVIDUAL RING-TONE & ICON TO YOUR CONTACT PERSON TOO. IT'S VERY LIGHT & COMPACT (especially good for girls who like to travel light & free). IT'S AESTHETICALLY PLEASING TO LOOK AT (one of the nicest phones I've seen to date). NOT MUCH TO COMPLAIN ABOUT. IF YOU WANT TO BE CONSTANTLY DOWNLOADING NEW RING-TONES => THEN THIS IS NOT THE PHONE FOR YOU! YOU HAVE TO DOWNLOAD RING-TONES, etc. VIA WAP.

Bad – I would recommend never buying a Samsung mobile! We have gone through 3 in our house (why haven't we learned yet???). Every single one has died within 9 months of purchase. Most Samsung models are fairly expensive and so we have WASTED over 2 grand on these phones. This model is the last one we had...never again!! Mostly the problem is with the… Read more

screen, it just turns black and seems like it is no longer connected to the phone? The other problems we have had is when we turned it on it does the initial 'on' bit and then just shuts off again. Ever since then we have never been able to turn it on again. Since this is the third time some similar problem has happened with a Samsung, I have lost all faith in the brand (at least for mobiles). Such a pity as the phones are always attractive and have great features. Good reception quality and good games. Stopped working.
