battery time. It couldn't handle all my dust and dog hair, even if used every day, I would have to empty the container halfway. When straddled on edge of rug and floor it would flick hair out the back of the vacuum rather then into the container, so it made a bit of mess. It got stuck on its own power cord. Was great on large open spaces of the same flooring with minimal furniture/ obstacles around. Would miss spaces of house before saying it was finished, small collection container.

Don't compare apples with oranges – I've read reviews that compare these with regular vacuums, but I don't think that's the right way to see them. These are small appliances that run around every day, as opposed to a larger appliance that gets dragged out of the cupboard once a week. difference to the state of the house. As an experiment, I emptied the hopper into a waste paper bin every day to see how much it picked up in a week, and the result was a surprisingly large quantity - at least as much as I'd get with the larger vacuum. Gadget value! These things are a real hoot and have great cred with my kids. They wouldn't use the 'normal' vacuum in a pink fit, but they will happily drive this around their room using the remote control. It is also quiet and fairly innocuous as it trundles about. It does become hooked up on things and get 'lost' at times, and it does miss some places. However, because it runs around the house every day this averages out and all the floors do get done eventually. One 'virtual guard' to block doorways wasn't enough and I've bought a second one.

Brilliant! A very effective cleaner – We did our research and this one seemed to be the best allround performer. We were not disappointed. It has become quite a talink point with visitors and it keeps the floors free of dust and mess form the kids. It is cleaning-up popcorn as I type this and coping very well.
