It does a really good job and quite smart. I like it a lot, just I would have given 5 stars if it had at least voice activation or assistant in it. Using Alexa for that is not quite there as we never manage to learn the specific voice prompts. Show details
We bought this very expensive robot vacuum as the company went on about its advanced AI detection system. notified the company I purchase through who forwarded to tonics for a refund. They declined refund saying the amazing AI function only allows for large objects like shoes and furniture. Considering this machine costs $1200 I think bumping into furniture and changing direction and not sucking up shoes isn’t very advanced, if anything this is the equivalent of what a $300 vac can do and probably better. I asked for a call but only get no refund and we won’t assess for a fault unless you spend money to have it cleaned. Terrible customer service but even worse product.
Further to customer service, I submitted I was happy for mediation and robovac responded very fast asking who I purchased through and invoice number. I responded within 3 days. I didn't receive a response, and I messaged again a week later asking if they received information. Still no response. Mediation is 14 days; I have given them 3 weeks and no response just silence.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I had my robot (vac & wash) for six months and it keeps stopping mid clean for an Error 2 Bumper Stuck message. After researching this on the web its found to be a known issues across these products. The vacuum’s auto-emptying feature is incredibly handy, and the mop refill and cleaning take convenience to another level.

with a large house. Performance wise this unit gets into all the corners, white tiles are cleaned beautifully and the carpet is spotless. And the unit is very quiet except for the auto emptying function, but it only lasts a few seconds. Mop pads are velcro and. can be washed in your machine. Since setting this unit up, all I've had to do is empty and refill the water tanks, which couldn't be easier thanks to their location adn handy handles. You wont regret buying this vacuum.

four full cleans I inspected the rollers dust bin and removed the filter to clean, could leave this for a longer period. As the machine cleans itself when it goes back to its Docking station. Believe me throw away your stick vacuum, well maybe keep it for the odd time you will need it. Set up is Real easy as it goes around and maps your house and you can look at the map and see where he she has cleaned. One feature I really appreciate is its ability to cross small steps, like the one at my bathroom entrance, without getting stuck. The noise level is also quite acceptable, and the controls are very beginner-friendly — I had no trouble setting it up or operating it.
The only minor downside is that it sometimes struggles to detect transparent glass obstacles, which I hope can be improved in future updates.
Overall, it’s an efficient, reliable, and easy-to-use cleaning companion. I’m very happy with this purchase.

maintenance, I mop and vacuum every weekday and only need to wash or blow out the filter once a week. And fill the water container. Highly recommended.
Follow-up · Still loving it! Great with pet hair I only have low pile carpets. We have a part husky and a long hair cat. Dog isn’t inside all day but the cat is. Mopping is great she does a good job and you can set to follow the direction of floor boards laminate etc. no issues with obstacles but I also don’t leave things lying around. Although it did manage to avoid a bath mat and not get tangled. Still give it 5stars

tiles and floorboards looking great. Settings are easy to set and forget. App is also easy to use. You can increase cleaning times and also cleaning strengths easily.
Follow-up · The battery lasts long enough to vacuum a big home (floorboards and tiles, 6 rooms and hallway), then will recharge and complete a full mop cycle. Dustbin bag is easily changed and mop water is basic to fill but would've been ideal if it was bigger. We have 2 dogs and 4 cats, which is the reason for this purchase and it handles pet hair and footprints with ease.

cleans the mop regularly, and the mop spins. It's a light mop, but it's amazing for nightly touch up in between the main mop.
Follow-up · To handle dog fur - I have it set to empty frequently. When there was a lot of fur when my dog was doing a big shed it can block the emptying pathways - just check that it's emptying well when you do weekly maintenance. Can not fault this product. Delivery was extra fast, the Roborock was packed in the sturdiest cardboard l have ever seen. Took me longer to break up the boxes than it did to download and set up the parameters, which was super easy. Hands down this is the best robot vacuum I have ever owned! It self-cleans the mop head, is quiet, the sensor on the unit is amazing - never gets stuck under anything and best of all it mops and vacuums at the same time - no setting up for one or the other! Despite providing clear video evidence of a fault while under warranty, the "support" team has entered a repetitive loop of requests followed by complete silence. feels like a deliberate tactic to discourage customers from using their warranty. I bought this from JB Hi-Fi and will be taking it back to them directly as Roborock’s own service is non-existent. Too bad! I loved my robot but now it didn’t last even 1 year!!

Had this for a few months now. Works like a dream when it works however lately we've started experiencing "errors" which don't seem to go away despite resets and remapping. It's quite frustrating as our routines are set for overnight cleaning without interruptions so we often find that a clean was only half done because of software/hardware… Read more

Lidar error is the most common error and seems to be a software issue because we definitely know there's nothing wrong with it as it still rotates freely when tried with a pencil, as advised by Roborok. At times it can't finish the job because the sensors are "dusty" so we have to wipe that frequently too.
As we run this every night, we've already got alerts to replace the filter and side brush (less than 5 months).
Overall it's a great investment, we haven't had to mop the floor ourselves in months however would be nice if it was more consistent with its reliability. It probably mops better than it vacuums though. Huti
