Roborock Q7 Max

Cleaning with less hassles – So far so good. Vacuum is great although it is too big to go between legs of dining chair. I’ve had to move the lounge out so it could clean behind. Great result on both tiles and timber floors. Hasn’t disconnected from wi-fi as the previous brand vacuum did. Haven’t used the mop as yet, hoping it is as good as the vacuum, reviews I have read say it’s one of the best for mopping.

My house has never been so clean – Once you have set up your mapping it is just easy to start the program and mop and vac whilst I can do something else! House feels clean with no streaks! I have 2 long haired chihuahuas that leave fur and this vac picks it all up. Show details ·  1

Absolutely brilliant! – With my new Goldie pup I was having to vacuum every day- so much hair! Now I just send Robo out to do it. leave the floor boards a bit streaky. I like how you can set the power and water strength for each floor type. Overall I love it. It has been well worth the money.

Perfect for both hard floor and carpet – I bought it for 3 weeks already and have been using on daily basis for vacuum and mopping. The powerful suction makes it perfect for both hard floor and carpet. No mopping zone is very useful and works perfect. Show reply

Game changer – What a time saver this has been! App is easy to use, mop settings to suit my different floors, vac suction adjustable is perfect. Would have really liked to see better links to instructional videos though, required lots of research of various places to learn to set up initially. Great for picking up of daily pet hair. Not the perfect solution, but does the job – I bought a roborock off their website, and it got delivered broken. Something that definitely shouldn't be happening. That being said, once i was able to get in touch with their customer service and return it (they supplied the prepaid label) they were able to send me out a working one reasonably quickly. bunny so, being able to pick up bunny poo was a must and turns out to not be a problem at all. It can get clogged quite easily though with hay, hair and other large items and doesn't recognize when it has happened, so good awareness and frequent checking that it has emptied properly/isn't clogged is necessary. The mopping function isn't going to get any tough stains up, but the accumulative effect of using it each day definitely makes a difference. Mapping is ok, but transitioning between maps (for the upper section of the house and lower) can be troublesome and the machine can get lost and need to reposition itself which can take a couple of minutes. All of this being said, having a reliable machine that can pick up just about anything that you would expect a regular vacuum to pick up, be scheduled to run every day on its own with minimal checking to make sure it is operating properly and hasn't picked up a sock, is pretty much all you can ask for.

latest generation of Roombas was insane. So after actually having to vacuum the house ourselves for a while (oh the horror, how could life be so cruel to us!) we looked again and found that Roborock Q7 Max seemed to get good reviews at a reasonable price so we gave it a go. Great decision! It’s so much smarter than the older robots and rarely crashes into anything and doesn’t leave scuff marks on the skirting boards like the roombas used to. It’s great at picking up dust, fluff and sand and the smart cleaning means you know it’s going to clean efficiently and thoroughly. You can also vacate a room while it cleans it and return knowing that it won’t be thumping into your feet a few minutes later. Can’t comment on reliability or longevity yet. I will do an update in a few months to see how it is going then.

** Update after 1 year ** Pleased to say the Rocorock is still working well. We've replaced the filters, rollers etc and as long as we remember to remove the various things it tends to get stuck on (Bathroom mats, dog toys, charger cables) it does its daily routine without a hitch. Unfortunately as with all robovacs, there are corners and spots it can't reach so you still need to get the regular vacuum cleaner out about once a week to do those spots but defintely we wouldn't be without it!

Makes life easy – Made my life so much easier. Love that I set up a variety of programs to get around different areas of the house each day. Doesn't require too much upkeep in terms of emptying dust bins. Would be five star if it was slightly better at picking up finer dirt in corners. Great product – Robot vacuums have improved leaps and bounds since first models and this is now getting to be a realistic option. No robot VC is perfect and Roborock is not perfect.
