Beautiful tv – Very fast OS and sufficient ports. It loses one star from me as I don't think the picture quality is as good as it could be, considering how much more expensive Samsung is when compared to other brands. Overall, it's a good tv but definitely not the best. Show details

Ultimate Television Experience – Smart tv indeed voice activated lends to ease of program selection and operation. Plenty of HDMI and auxiliary ports. Works great with an outside antenna. Picture quality excellent in all Channels. Show details

Picture Quality

The picture quality was terrible – I was sold one of these at the shop, and went along with it as at that stage I was a bit iffy but still trusted Samsung as a brand. After setting it up and watching content in my dark theater room, it was immediately apparent that the grey uniformity of the picture was horrible, even for a side lit LCD. There were grey vertical blotches on either… Read more

side of the screen from top to bottom, and several more random ones near the middle. This was especially distracting when watching sports or action movies with bright objects moving across the screen. I feel like this is a quality control issue, and Samsung has let their standards slip in favor of profits... Samsung's tizen OS was clunky and slow, and had a huge lack of apps available compared to other brands that use Android TV. I did like the tap to share feature where tapping your (samsung) phone against the screen would initiate sharing, but honestly this is a gimmick as it makes more sense to do it without getting off the couch. Honestly, I would expect picture quality this band on a $500 hisense or TCL, not on a $2100+ Samsung. I sent it back and paid a bit of extra $ for a Sony.

TV turns on and off whenever it likes! – Wow Samsung, a TV so smart thats it turns itself on and off.. Except that it does it in the middle of programs aand the middle of the night. Whenever really! Have read many complaints about this series just turning on and off randomly. Have performed trouble shooting so what's the problem with your technology? If it's WiFi or other signal… Read more

interruption etc WHY DON'T YOU OTHER BRAND TVS HAVE THIS PROBLEM. Also can't believe the hdmi inputs aren't flush for wall mounting.. Poor design Samsung. Reporting to Dept of Fair Trade and ACCC this week.

Almost perfect – We love the Samsung TV's for their functionality and ease of use menue and built in apps. Very easy to use and navigate menue, the Bluetooth remote works extremely well and does not need to be pointed at the tv, the only issue is it is not compatible with our Sonos sound bar. There are work arounds but it took a bit of searching to configure. Show details
