this phone, and its fautlyness--I have accidentally dropped mine a level (from upstairs) onto carpet and nothing is broken and still works like new. Beacause it's thin, works well, looks sexy and sleek(only 1.2cm thick), has awsome Bang & Olufsen speakers with ICEpower® Technology, alright battery life, excellent quality camera (3.2 mp with led flash),super fast (3G) speed internet, very lould speakers, and the fact that it has never failed or malfunctioned. I see this product as another sucessful Samsung product. And, its also made in Korea--which means quality and realiablity. Its paint peels off. But my model (the black) from optus prepaid looks better without the mirror. So I manually scraped the mirror paint off, which reveals an lcd screen with the samsung logo intact, able to be viewed at under direct sunlight; and now it looks even more appealing. I don't see why Samsung decided to coat the phone which this mirror paint when the phone already looks fantastic without it. Also, no fm radio, the video recording function is low resolution. XD

Terrible – This was the worst phone i ever had and gave it away after 3 months of which is was given back to me a month later. touch funtion buttons always make it difficult to use, very poor screen in sunlight makes it really really difficult to read anything on the screen. Pricey too, although I bought mine for relatively cheap the RRP is pretty high for this not so great phone by Samsung.

Excellent – i love samsung mobile phones they are so sleek and stylish there. the camera had a good auto focus and i love the quality it brings out. i still use hte phone today for photos. the sleek keypad really made it easy to send text messages and write notes on to the phone. its got stereo bluetooth which makes voices and audio much clearer. its an… Read more

awesom phone to rely on and the battery life compared to nokia is magnificant. it lasted a few days of excessive talking and still had no problems. also recharges very quickly in less than an hour. nice slide feature. high quality phone that does not damage easilty. loved teh mobile printing. would have liked a 5 megapixel camera, not up to standard there but still great quality.

Excellent – samsung are a very well made brand of phone and the u700 has a really good slider and the features are as good as any simmurlar phones in its range. will by samsung from now on. this phone is light weight fits well in your hand and is very slim. good camera quality and easy to use . i chose this phone over the nokia slides. the screen can be a bit hard to see in bright light and the touch sceen can be a bit sensitive.

Terrible – I really disliked this phone. I had it for 2 weeks then sold it on ebay. It isn't straight forward and you have to use far too many keys for a simple instruction. use. Is far too sensitive. Way overpriced for what you get. Scratches very easily. You definitely need a phone sock to keep it safe. The tone when you key in a phone number is very annoying.

Good – Used to use the Sony Erricsons and had a d900i but the SGH-U700 is I think better all over more slim lined easier to use more functions 3g capable and I would recommend this phone to anone looking at buying one of these. expensive phone. Your need to restart a text message if you make a mistake and the touch pad is poor - if you touch it during a phone call it usually cuts out.

Terrible – impossible to see the screen in the outdoors. very frustrating. annoying text msg format and settings especially if you make a mistake, you have to retype the whole msg. the samsumgs dont have good user interface. will be sticking to nokia in the future. has more features than my last phone. poor screen quality. the reflective screen makes it near impossible to see in the outdoors/daylight. poor user interface.

Good – This phone really makes a statement by its dazzeling looks. I consider this to be one of the best looking phones i have seen. down side is that the phone memory is quite small so when it comes to transferring music onto it, it does not hold a large amount. The design features, camera, touvh keypads not enough memory

always accidentally put people on loud speaker when im on a call; hard to find in my handbag sometimes because its so slim.
