Extremely unhappy Samsung‼️DO NOT BUY THEIR TV’s anymore‼️ After many, many, many tv purchases, for both us and our family members, our 50” developed a shudder on the top of the screen…Samsung recommends a local repairer - $850 to fix…new tv $895 to… Read more
buy. Got in touch and had problem escalated with Samsung only to be told 12 days later. Nothing they can do. ONLY FIVE YEARS OLD ‼️so this is how business is done now…built in redundancy as new models keep getting made. This once loyal customer is no more.
Follow-up · To answer some of your questions. Samsung TV's previously have lasted over 10 years without any dip in picture quality at all. The repair quote came via Samsung (the business). They told me that the spare parts to fix are almost as much as a new Samsung TV. Very un-environmental Samsung! It seems that the latest models (last 7 years or so) have… Read more
Disappointed – I've had this TV since 2019. Bought extended care warranty for it. In the last week, the tv picture started jumping after 5mins of use. None of the troubleshoot steps worked, not even factory resetting. Sadly, because the fault started one month after my warranty expired, I'm now stuck with a dodgy TV that should have had more than 2-3yrs of life. Very disappointing for a Samsung product. Didnt last long – Afer 2-3yrs already this TV has died. The picture starts jumping after about 30mins of use now. Unwatchable. Pretty sure u should be able to get more life out of a TV than 2-3yrs. Now Im not sure Id buy a Samsung after this experience. Need a new TV already.
Very disappointed with Samsung – Picture quality is very good, software as well. Still disappointed, after only two and a half years back led light died, having right hand side of the screen much darker, on start up whole screen flickers for about 10 seconds. To be honest I was recommending Samsung to all my friends and family, and now... I don't know. This was my favourite electronic brand... Show details

LCD light Bleeds, bad picture quality – I am not interested about the apps or anything else on the tv, I'm interested in picture quality which this tv lacks, when I bought this I thought it was a good quality tv as the salesmen in Bing Lee told us. When I came home the picture quality was not to my expectation and the screens backlight was bleeding on top of that. I connect my TV to my… Read more
PC through HDMI and I watch Youtube any video and picture quality is very bad and the screen light bleeds, the colour black looks light grey, in movies, dark parts end up looking mosaic. I had a LG 42'inch TV HD (I included a picture of it in comparison) and it was much better than this TV, it did not have bleeding issues and it it's picture was amazing. This TV was a regrettable purchase, only 6 weeks later did we find out the screen bleeding came with this model unfortunately. We contacted Samsung service center and technician are coming to check the TV. TV has 275 NITS which is very low, Sony TV's have 1000 NITS. It is worse if you watch it in a dark room the picture quality and the black is very patchy and noticeably bad, can't enjoy watching anything with this TV and its picture quality which is a waste of money. This TV cannot be watched from an angle as it becomes blurry, you must watch in front of it. I don't recommend this TV!!!
Excellent TV – Quite a good TV. Bought October of 2019 from Harvey Norman for $945. Paid $50 for delivery. One negative is that if the curtains are open the glare reflects like a mirror on the TV. My older Samsung 32" that I bought 14 years ago didn't do that. Stay clear of the Samsung 32" N5300 model though as it can only be setup by using a mobile phone app… Read more · 1
which is bloody stupid. What idiot came up with that idea. One has to download an app to the mobile and then its suppose to work. Don't own a mobile that has apps as its quite old. No mention of thsi on Samsung or HN web site about needing a mobile phone to download an app just to run the setup on that model TV.
The N5300 should have a general recall on it. Clearly a piece of junk. Anyway the 7100 is a very good tv set as long as the blinds or curtains are closed.
Thinking about buying another one of these but from a different store next time. These are down to $699 at JB HiFi.
Very good TV for the price – Pretty happy with this Samsung TV. Chose this over the other brands as it apparently had some of the best image quality plus added features such as Apple TV/Airplay, comprehensive smart TV apps and plenty of ports. The TV quality is great with only digital channels that are not HD looking a bit poor. The set up is easy and you can hook it up to… Read more · 1
your Smartthings app and get notifications from your Samsung washer and stuff... it's cool, but not a must! Just a few downsides such as the Plex app not installing - although their phone customer service was very helpful (this is probably the benefit of buying from a big brand). The remote is a bit clunky and I'm surprised it didn't have alphanumeric keys on it. So unfortunately you have to select and click each letter - a bit silly as it's a smart TV. It would be good if they updated their smartphone app so you could use the onscreen keyboard. It pairs nicely with a Philips soundbar too, which can be controlled with its remote. Overall, pretty happy.
Samsung Series 7 – Great TV, simple setup, has everything we need for an office TV, can connect to Wifi without any problems. Everything on remote control is easy to find and obvious to use. Show details
