fault with this model, after I recently experienced the same major fault, which first came to my notice when a vertical- coloured line appeared on the right of the screen. Upon being merely wiped with a soft rag, the line immediately, and curiously spread both vertically and horizontally over the whole screen area. I also reiterate that the tv or screen, was never subject to any damage. As a result, I’ll never purchase another Samsung TV. .

Bad picture quality – Some serious black crushing makes this tv nearly unwatchable. There is seriously no shadow detail. It’s unacceptable that they have clearly done this to give the illusion of “better blacks”. Don’t believe me? Just watch the Witcher in 4k HDR.  Show details

Decent – I bought the tv on the end of year sales and although it was on discount I still feel I paid a lot for an ok tv, the image and the frame rate in playing is not perfect but acceptable. Show details

This is alright – Everything is going alright with the tv. I just wish there is voice recognition on the remote control like there is on LG one. Everything else is good. I Recommended Show details ·  1

Great value TV – This TV looks great, has a slim / modern look and compliments our home. We are very impressed with how clear it is and the operating system is so easy to use. The only down fall would have to be the remote, it functions well but looks a little cheap. Show details

Samsung quick to blame customers for tv fault – After only 3 months since purchase vertical and horizontal lines just suddenly appeared on screen. Technician came out and said this is due to a thermal crack (behind the front glass panel) and that a severe blow/knock to the TV would cause this type of damage. Samsung will not honour warranty, as they say damage caused by customer. I live alone… Read more

and the TV has not been touched or knocked in any way so it is most definitely a fault in the TV. I proceeded to do some internet research and have found many posts from customers who have experienced the exact same problem whilst watching their Samsung TV and they too received the same response from Samsung. I am now stuck with a faulty TV. Be warned, their Warranty is worthless!

Good TV. Only problem is remote control is small – The screen on the 55cm is very sharp with good corner to corner illumination and resolution. It works well. The guide is good but the thin blue line showing the current time is not easy to see. The TV is in a good price range and worth considering. The only thing I don't like is the remote. it's small and the volume / channel buttons are in the top half which is not ergonomic. In fact some buttons are difficult to ascertain when the room is dark or if you need reading glasses. If they made the remote a bit bigger with more clarity to help find the buttons a bit easier, then I might have given this 5 stars.

However its a good TV that I do recommend.

Great picture, software not so great – Picture is very good and colour adjustment excellent. Not bad sound but the only tiresome thing is the program guide that is extremely slow! If they do an upgrade to the guide then I’ll be interested in getting another one!  Show details ·  1

I love this TV so much, a good investment!!! – My experience with this TV is plainly fantastic. i upgraded from a non-smart tv to this one and my life changed. The resolution is crisp (4K) and the sound has that "bass" on it. In this case, I found using a sound bar no longer necessary. Show details ·  1

So perfect, – Love this TV. All the features are so easy to use, never had a smart TV before but would never go back. Beautiful colour and sound is excellent. Would recommend this to all my friends as most of them are jealous now anyway!!! Show details ·  1

Perfect TV at its price – Upgraded version of last year NU7100 2018 model. Can't really see much differences apart from the extra input ports at the back. Overall is very satisfied with the quality and the price. Would recommend this base model to anyone. Show details
