There appears to be NO WAY to TRICK the machine into spinning. And then the WASHING is just dripping because it hasn't been spun enough. I have never had ERROR CODE appear on my machine. The fabric softener has NEVER released into the RINSE CYCLE, it pours into the machine straight away. The plastic filter things each side, are just rubbish! Barely hanging in there. 7 years 1 month. We stupidly paid for Extra Care (4 years - which has expired) The clothes are Always Extra Crinkled. This machine is supposed to last 11 - 14 years! It's rubbish! Did I mention, the very first one we had was a Lemon? It was replaced after a week, because it couldn't spin for it's life! I've had enough of Samsung washers to last me out! Just rubbish! Who ever heard of a Spin Cycle lasting 14 minutes? What a joke! Lots of bells & whistles on a machine that's short, and now faulty, on performance.

Waste of money – My partner and I brought one each in 2017 both are collecting dust in the garage. One will not calibrate no matter what and the other will fill up with water when it's suppose to spin the clothes dry! I've had to try and time it so I can turn it off beforehand. We did have someone come out to fix one because it caught fire and he claimed there was nothing wrong with it just a clogged drain? Show details

the computer system keeps resetting itself every time it gets to 9 minutes left on the load. I have pulled all the wet washing out and repositioned ( still does it). I have made the load smaller (still does it), I have changed to the rinse & spin cycle, (still does the same pattern). I now see the model is no longer in manufacture, why, a lemon perhaps ! As I was given this replacement machine from Samsung, I considered it would last much longer than 4 years. Very upset and certainly disappointed with Samsung, as I thought they were a reliable brand, that's why I purchased their 8kg in the first place ( it was found to be faulty) .....NEVER again.

clothes are completely wet and I have to use neighbour's machine to spin them drier. I have followed all the instructions in the instruction manual as well as a calibration and nothing has changed. Not happy Samsung!

Noah ark – This machine is the worst ever, it doesn't wash properly, noisy but the biggest thing is it floods the house when it wants to from somewhere inside the machine. I have to stand there while the machine drains or fill in case ir want to flood us again.

Temperamental turns to useless – Exact same problem as Jane F. a spin cycle with absolutely nothing in the tub, it spins no problem. Spin cycle with a couple of light items (never mind that it’s a 10kg machine) and the same issue continues.

drum goes off balance all the time even with a very small load in. I am hanging the washing out wet most of the time now. I preferred my first machine but then again I didn't want it if it was exploding.

Frustrated – Was given this washing by Samsung as a replacement during the recall of the washing machines that were exploding. as instructed by the manual. However it still keeps doing it and it is constantly banging. I am lucky if it completes a load a day and that isn't even a full load. I have made sure that it level and run the collaboration program. Washing cycles go for far to long even when you don't have a full load and leaves lint on the clothes, not all of it is collected.

My previous samsung though had a defect that could be dangerous and am glad is gone didn't cause me this much of a problem and lasted a lot longer before having it replaced by Samsung due to the dangerous defect.

I do like most samsung products this one however has been extremely difficult as I am a single mother and it's hard to ensure my children have clean clothes and that is before I try to washing mine.

Just as well this model is discontinued! – Used for normal household washing. Bought the 10kg To cut down on number of loads. I have been washing for over 40 years and never in that time have I had a crap machine like this one. the items in the machine, something I learnt after a few loads weren’t clean after I had ‘washed’ them. The cycles are long, the minimum being 54 minutes. The WORST thing though is ever since I started using the machine I have had an ongoing problem with brown, tissue like, fragments being left on the washed item at the end of the cycle. If I do a tub clean there are still these fragments left in the bowl and the filters. The fragments do not stain the washing and when dry can be brushed off, but that is all extra work. I have tried ‘descaling’ the machine as well as using the tub clean cycle and the problem still persists 22 months down the track. Samsung have sent a technician to check the machine and 6 weeks later when I contacted Samsung because I had not heard anything from them, I was sent a copy of the technician’s report which stated ‘replaced assy filter tested ok’. No mention of the brown debris in the machine when he arrived, I had run a tub clean cycle before he arrived.

Disaster, do not buy this machine if you want clean clothes! – I would give this machine a 0 if I could. The absolute worst washing machine I have ever seen and used. The clothes come out dirty. When I complained to the company they said that the machine is working fine therefore, although it does not do the job I have both it for, I am stuck whit this worthless piece of rubbish.  Show details

you spin and drain for the next 19-20 minutes. 54 minutes is the minimum wash time. Not economical. Quick wash- if you select wash , rinse and spin- will be minimum 35-40 minutes on shortest cycle. Do not have ' my wash cycle". So you are left with the set washing programs which may not suit you. This model has a wash jet at the top- which is useless and you will wet the floor if you use this function. Wash jet space is very shallow. I have previously owned better Samsung washing machines.

Also worth mentioning good guys refused replacing this machine 7 days after I purchased it as I was unhappy with the machine.

I previously had a Bosch washing machine which cleaned clothes better.

This is one crap Washer – Let's start One Clothes never got washed good always came out bad.
