Wa65f5s2 wont rotate both ways when in wash cycle – I have a samsung 6.5kg top loader when in the fuzzy wash and other wash cycles it only rotates one way it starts off with rotating both ways and 2 min into the cycle it struggles to rotate both ways please help is this normal

Crapp – Clothes get tied up in knots impossible to untangle some pieces of clothing, drainage pipe is on the side of the machine which is the most stupid design issue for a washing machine. I can't even fit it into the space it's supposed to go into, you get the right dimensions but then this stupid drainage pipe sticks out 3 cm so I forvever have a machine in the middle of my 1X2m rental that I can't get around to get to the sink. Don't buy one

Don't buy SAMSUNG> Tangled and screwed up clothes. I don't want to iron after each wash – The clothes come out wrinkled and tangled. The wear and tear on your clothes will end up being expensive. towels are not always dry still quite moist, if you want to to shorten the spin time hence not to get clothes too wrinkled it just keeps singing out and it reads UE no matter how you flatten or reorganize the clothes.

The machine is crap, I have had many machines over my 40 yrs. of marriage and never experienced a machine like this that you cant alter during the wash if you want to. I have always had Simpson or Fisher and Paykel. I plan to get rid of this machine. You can only have Hot or cold no warm. Other people say they like the tunes it plays I wish it was quieter. Don,t buy this machine. Spoke to Samsung Sydney about the machine the head of the dept. couldn't care less. If the machine is technically ok then you can go to hell. They are not concerned about customer satisfaction. They told me if there,s nothing wrong with it technically then that's all they can do. They do not care about the fact it screws up your clothes and SAMSUNG will not take any responsibility for any poor design issues. They get your money and that,s all they care about.

Again I say do not buy SAMSUNG> maybe look at Simpson or Fisher and Pakyll. I won,t be making the same mistake again.

baby, she was following the washing guidelines of cleaning soiled nappies and found that the "Fussy" function doesn't give her options to select how long the wash cycle will be, it is on its fixed time cycle (with no time adjustment can be made) and when selected "hot water + air turbo" option, the machine will actually adds cold water into the washing automatically by itself, so my wife needs to turn off the cold water tap in order to use hot water on its own.

Overall this machine is a great machine with its simple but yet basic functions that suits most daily / weekly washes for small families, however a lot of its "fixed" options have limited its flexibility on choosing cycle time / water temperature settings.

Great machine and excellent value – Samsung provided me with this new model free of charge to replace their previous model that had been recalled due to safety concerns. Samsung were easy to deal with and very obliging and the new model was delivered and installed and the old one removed free of charge. It is gentle on clothes and runs quietly and efficiently.

The favourite features are that the wash cycle can be set/reset simply through the computer memory and it only requires the pushing of 2 buttons to activate the full cycle.

The drain hose on the new model is now located on the left hand side of the machine and means that a gap must be left between the machine and laundry tub, requiring a wider space. Be careful to measure before purchase!

Simple and easy cleaning of the filter and sensible loading means this machine with simple care, is more than adequate for the laundry requirements of a small family.

The price is competitive and I recommend the washer to anyone requiring reliability, gentle washing and great after sales service.

Great machine!! – I bought this machine near new, second hand. It is absolutely fab! Washes our clothes so well! Have noticed such a difference! So many reviews about clothes ending up tangled etc however never had a problem. No wonder it has been discontinued! – Easy to use, but disappointed with the spin cycle. Doesn’t seem to spin as hard as it needs to. Won’t allow spin cycle to run by itself, so clothes come out damper than necessary. Show details

Flimsy piece of equipment – the spinning has come to a stop all of a sudden, the machine was making strange smell like burning rubber, we have checked the belt seems to be all good, the lid opens and triggers off the pause therefore assuming it's OK , hell knows what 's holding up the spin cycle. Show details

Bad selection – Bought this machine in 2017 and I have to pull my washing apart. Sheets get tightly knotted. If I wash jeans and undies together they are completely entangled in knots using the Fuzzy program. Slightly better using the delicate program. It is the best washing machine i have had – We have a big family of 7. The washing machine averages 2-3 washes per day. We have never had an faults or breakdowns in the 3 years we have had it. Thats over 2000 loads with no issues at all. I have recently sold it in full working condition not for any fault of the product but due to getting a front loader for new house. Good machine – Had this machine for 2 years now. It's very reliable. Nothing has ever gone wrong with it. It has a tub clean setting which is great. The magic filter works great and so easy to empty. When it's finished it plays a little tune and then stops. It doesnt play reminder sounds like some other which I think is great.I find you can fit extra in each load because there's no agitator. Waste of money – Cracks on lid started appearing within 6 months. Doesn't have agitator so clothes didn't rinse all water as well as a machine with an agitator. extended warranty that I had paid for. Im extremely unhappy that a washing machine can break in this way when it's not even 3.5 years old. I'll never buy anything from Harvey Norman again and I'll never get extra warranty. It's an absolute disgrace. For anyone needing a washing machine I would steer clear of Samsung brands and Harvey Norman.

Decent washing machine – Good basic top loading washing machine that does the job with minimal bells and whistles. Cleans well and features an impeller drum which means no stick down the middle and more capacity for clothes. Worst machine ever – Tangled clothes tight into a ball so they come out wrinkled and stretched Becomes unbalanced with even the smallest loads so might as well be the manual machine from 1950s as you spend half your time repositioning the clothes so it can continue to wash Really disappointing - would never by a machine without a central agitator again  Show details

Great washing machine – I have had this washing machine for about 4 years. Never had a problem. Always washes clothes well & an easy machine to keep running. Wonderful machine – This is a great compact washing machine (ours is the 6.5kg). Works well and sings a little song at the end when it is done (cute!) Great easy to use settings. Ours broke but they came and fixed it under warranty. Next time I will get a bigger one so I can wash blankets, it is just a bit too small to do this.  Show details

Owned for just 2 years and broken – Washed clothes well, Quite loud in drain and spin cycles. Didn't last any longer than the warranty and paid a washing machine repairer to repair, but he pulled it apart and said the gearbox was no good and would cost nearly as much as a new machine to get fixed. Worst WM I've ever used – I rarely write reviews but want to warn others so they don't end up as dissatisfied as I am. Cleans Beautifully – This is such a good machine and such an improvement from our old one! It looks great and runs quietly and clothes come out feeling very clean. There are many programs and you can dial it down for really good water saving on light loads. Clothes spin out very dry for a top loader. Great machine. Very happy – We recently upgraded to this model after our old Samsung washer retired (after 10 years of hard labour). Couldn't be happier with the new machine. It is reliable, quiet and does a great job. Especially love the air turbo option which leaves clothes much dryer so they can be simply hung on an indoor drying rack for a fast finish. I’ve had it for one year and it is awful!! – It worked fine for about 6 months, then one day using the “Fuzzy” cycle it automatically restarted as soon as it was done! started freezing when it gets to rinse cycle and the only way to fix it is to turn it off and back on and start it at the rinse part VERY annoying!!

Another issue we have is almost every time if we open the lid while it’s running it freezes and has to be turned off and on again!!!

It’s really annoying because essentially I can’t turn it on and walk away I have to be close by so I can keep checking to make sure it hasn’t frozen, I have to put alarms on to make sure it doesn’t restart itself! It’s ridiculous!

I will never buy a samsung product again! Just google “samsung washing machine recalls” they have had at least 6 DIFFERENT models recalled, unfortunately this isn’t one of them because I wasted my money on this! Please don’t buy this waste of space, power and water!

Does the job – It cleans the clothes really well when in hot and cold but not that much when a bit soiled and needs only cold wash. Does not much have options to choose from but I believe it does the job. I don't like the fact that it consumes so much energy/electricity, especially when using air turbo which I need during winter. Cheap and reliable. Not noisy – Cleans the clothes decently. It doesn't come with advance function, but for the price it is good. The washing machine run quiet and since its a top loader, no issues of having to do another wash if you forget a piece of clothing. Maintenance wise is easy as well. Nice good product – The machine is a perfect size for a family of 3 or 4. Energy efficient and due to the size It doesn't consume a lot of water. Has so many modes for washing. Good Value Machine – Low water consumption for the same priced other brands. Standard dimension and easily fits most laundry spaces. 6 settings for different clothes type. Once you’ve selected the preferred setting, rest is all automatic and it adjusts water level according to load. where a bit dubious about buying this machine, after bad problems with earlier models, Samsung have sorted the earlier faults

Don't Buy a Samsung – Purchased 2014. First fault 2016 fixed under warranty. 2017 motor blown and circuit board needs replacing out of warranty and uneconomic to repair so cheaper to buy new. Definitely NOT SAMSUNG. Don't waste your money on this brand. Wasn't cheap cost $600 back in 2014. I would expect at least 5 years of use without faults...wouldn't you?  Show details
