last top loader, I have been used to finding a random sock and throwing it into the wash a few minutes in. However, with this pretty thing, you cannot open the lid once the machine starts, without turning everything off and restarting, which is a pain if you are a Mum and find random socks during your daily house cleaning hunt. Overall the Samsung is a beauty and I am pleased with my decision. Whenever I have any doubts, the song she sings when her load is finished makes me appreciate her hard work.

Problems with filters – I bought this machine in 2019 for a family of 3, with a baby due later that year. It’s easy to use programs, and setting water levels and spin speeds are good options. washing machine at our new rental. The tub is quite deep, and is difficult for a shorter person like myself to reach the bottom (for example socks and baby clothes). The water use is very high. At first it was working well, however very quickly the filters became clogged with the fine mesh being extremely difficult to clean thoroughly. Our clothes have a fine lint on them every wash now. The filters also had mould grow on the rubber, even though I removed the lint and left them to dry after finishing use of the machine. Eventually I gave up and bought new filters, but they have the same issue as the first, and they broke after a few weeks use. Another thing I noticed is the frequency of having to do a tub clean cycle, which requires a lot of water. Most recently the washing machine overflowed during the start of a wash cycle. I don’t know what caused it. If I had been aware of the filter issues, I would have bought a different machine.

I would not recommend this product to anyone – I am still waiting (8 months) to hear from Samsung as i have a few questions about the new top loader that doesnt have the cone thing in the middle. (towel/sheets) wash you will end up with a hot rinse as well, so costly. I would not recommend this type of washing machine to anyone EVER and I am still waiting for the service team to answer some questions and that i want to return it as you cannot try these things out in the store and the staff at FARMERS did not tell me about the knotted garments and OMG knotted sheets to untangle - AND the machine plays music for every button choice and when it is finished - drive me crazy and it wont turn off! LEMON!!!

Rubbish!! Do not buy – The first one was delivered and setup by the store that delivered. It didn’t even turn on for the first time as it had a fault. They picked it up and replaced. at all. It is an absolute price of rubbish and would expect it to last more then a few years as it js very lightly used. I would never buy another Samsung product ever again as I have now had similar issues with there other products.

Rubbish washing machine – Bought the above machine a few weeks ago online. Not realizing this model didnt have an agitator rather a spinning disk in the base, i went ahead with the purchase of a black model (another big mistake). Samsung washing machine – I loved that this machine was black as it’s not your average colour!! I was intrigued by the cancer basin that it had as I never had or used this before, but after using I find it a little awkward. U have to power it on before the water jet will work. and fabric softener. If I could remove it without the risk of breaking something I would. But apart from those minor things I think this machines great. It holds a lot of washing for its size and does a good job at getting things clean. So anyway overall I’d give it a 7/10 :)

Owner of 8 months+ – I changed to this top loader for a more customized wash cycle which this machine definitely offers. bits of clothing which is almost like staining from the fabric softener? I find this to be very strange as it appears on different fabric clothing and is impossible to remove. (I have read other reviews that have also mentioned the staining issue with this machine?!)

One thing I like most about this machine is how quite it is while in operation, you almost forget you put the washing on until it sings it's little song at the end of the spin cycle. I don't mind this machine, but, I wouldn't buy it again.. Still searching for a decent washing machine after 10 years & 3 different models.

Looks good but that’s where it ends – Have had this machine for a few months now and every week am more dissatisfied. didn’t need it. The worst thing is the amount of time each wash takes. It is worse than a front loader. Now my dark clothes are coming out with fluff and bits of cotton on them. They look like they are damaged. We are only a small family and do not have pets. I have done the tub cleaning numerous times which also uses an obscene amount of water. I have been told everything is normal. Sorriest day of my life when I bought this machine.

ghost in the machine – This machine has a mind of it's own. Very curious as to how it fills the tub with water on spin only, not rinse and spin, many other cyclic anomalies.
