Great washing machine except rubber goes MOULDY and Samsung refuses to fix – We've had this machine for just over 12 months. The machine itself washes well, has excellent features and the size is wonderful as it fits doonas, blankets etc. HOWEVER, the rubber seal inside the machine has spots of mould. it is not in a hot climate. Nothing else in our home is mouldy. The machine is regularly cleaned and the door is often left open after a wash cycle to help it dry out. There is simply no reason why mould should accumulate. It is clearly an issue with the product. Samsung refuses to acknowledge this and insists the mould is "user caused". I simply do not see how. I've never had this issue with a washing machine.

Samsung customer service are terrible to deal with, and on that basis I cannot recommend their products. When spending $2k on a washing machine, problems like this should not arise, and if they do, the manufacturer should rectify them promptly.

OMG!!!!! Love it – We are a family of 5, mum/dad + 3 young boys who are always getting dirty and we work full time and never seem to be home, this machine is our life saver. who has seen it comments on the mother of all machines but I can honestly say....it's my life saver....I LOVE IT! Cleans brilliantly, quiet and HUGE!

My only negative with it is that once the child lock is on you can touch everything EXCEPT the power on/off button. My son has touched the dial, door handle and start button without a problem, but a couple of times he has hit the power button and it turns the machine off and when you turn it back on the programming/part of the cycle you are on is lost.

Perfect wash every time – We have a big family and this machine handles the big loads well. Cleans the clothes well every time. Runs quietly and has a cycle program for everything. Very easy to use. Nice and user friendly – This machine is ready to use and requires less cleaning. You don't have to clean the filter as offer as it is needed for the top loader. However the down side is the detergent tray. They tend to get mouldy after some time. It also lets you know if it needs a drum clean. The quick wash setting is a bit too fast. Just 15 mins. little song at the end annoying, but for me, it says "I have just done another great wash" and not only that, it then turns itself off!

Do not buy ! – Not worth the money. Great to have a 16kg but just do not think the technology is up to standard for these bigger machines just yet.. offered 4 options including full money replacement, new machine, store voucher or repair. I opted for store voucher so I would not loose my ext. warantee with Harvey Norman. Today my new Samsung arrives.. time will tell!

Poor customer service – Great machine and washers all our household items. Machine was purchased from a major retailer on a cash back bonus had to wait months to receive the $400.00 and required the assistance of Consumer Affairs. reliable and easy to store – Got this as a gift when I first moved into my new place. It's quiet but the thing I noticed the most was it's lightweight. Does not seem to fade clothes or wash the color out of new items like my old washer.

A lot of settings, have no idea how to use them all but the ones I use work amazing.

It senses how much water to use based on the size of the load!

Cons- It plays a stupid song for like 45 seconds when your washing is done. You cannot turn it off according to the Samsung service technicians. I wish I could because it is loud and annoying.

Not every setting gives you the options of every temperature and spin speed setting.

A large and heavy machine, but what can you expect for a 16 KG load capacity

I don't know what more to say about the machine. I love it so far. My old LG started leaking and was shorting out the electricity for the whole house. I had the machine for over 13 years and loved it, I never thought I could fall in love with a washing machine as much as my old one. Surprise! Time will tell how long this machine will last, but if it lasts 10 years, it will be well worth it. Had I known it would perform this well I would have bought two of them so when this one crapped out I would just switch them over. The capacity is so large that I can wash my king size doonas with it and they come out very clean. I always use the towels settings and bubbles as it allows me more options for temperature and spin speed settings. Nothing has come out smelly yet. With my old machine, no matter how I washed them (especially my gym clothes), they would still smell of sweat after they were dry, but no more. I have used the machine to wash silk items and wool items (separately of course) and have had no problems with shrinkage or color leeching out of the clothes using the delicates setting and on 30 degrees temperature setting. I bought it for less than $1000 after the $400 cash back offer from Samsung, so great value for money. Do your shopping around as my price included free delivery and installation. Overall very happy with the machine and highly recommend so far as long as it is reliable.
