Samsung WF1702XEC

Beautiful, quiet, reliable – We upgraded to this machine from a fairly recent but noisy LG model, which had a nasty habit of leaving the odd random stain on white clothes. The WF1702XEC is the best machine we’ve ever owned. It’s quiet, has so many settings and options for all types of fabrics and garments, and never skips a beat. We’ve had it for years now and it gets used almost every day. It has never stopped or needed to be repaired so far. Great machine

Great washer – I purchased this washer almost 2 years ago after moving to smaller apartment, my 8 kg LG front loader would not fit in this tiny shallow cupboard laundry, there is almost nothing that would. I am extremely happy I found this one, with very small outside dimensions (W 60 cm x D 45 cm x H 85 cm) it is really good size inside - 7 kg , it fits everything that my 8 kg LG did. I wash only full loads 3- 5 times a week and it is fantastic. All programs are very useful, I specifically like Outdoor Care, Bedding, Drum Clean and My Cycle. Drum Clean is wonderful, it greatly improves the washing performance and My Cycle is perfect for my husband to do his weekly uniform wash without me giving him instructions. I had no problem, so I cannot comment on Samsung Customer Service, but I would not recommend LG or Asko for the problems I had with them. The fact is, good customer service is very very rare these days.

Samsung - Worst customer support – I purchased a brand new Samsung washing machine delivered and installed. The machine was DOA (dead on arrival). The problem was reported to Samsung. After a period of 2 weeks, Samsung replaced the motherboard, sensor and wires without my approval and refuses to provide me with a new replacement at my original request. I paid for a new machine and received one that needed major repairs and was scratched in the process.

Post purchase support from Samsung is worst I have experienced. Samsung do not care about their customer once they have obtain the customer's money.

Beware - DO NOT purchase Samsung products.

Buy Apple or LG if you want good customer care and support.

My family will no longer purchase any Samsung products.
