Extremely disappointed — 9 months old and already failed I purchased this Samsung WW11CG604DLESA washing machine for around $1,000 and, after just 9 months of use, came home to a flooded house after the outer tub developed a hole and failed. Unfortunately, the issue has been made even worse by Samsung's handling of the warranty claim. From my initial contact, communication was slow and frustrating. Samsung ultimately refused to cover the damage, claiming it was due to wear and tear.
I requested a copy of the inspection report, photographs and clarification of how they had reached this conclusion. It took three emails and a phone call before I finally received a response, and Samsung still refused to cover the repair.
The machine was only 9 months old when this happened. I find it extremely disappointing that a washing machine at this price point can suffer such a significant failure in less than a year and that Samsung's response has been to reject the warranty claim rather than properly address the issue.
$1,000 and 9 months later, I am left with a washing machine I cannot use on and a very poor customer service experience.
Based on this experience, I would never purchase another Samsung product.

After a month of normal use door seal failed soaking my laundry floor and Samsung cite misuse to avoid repairing under warranty. Terrible quality and even worse after sales support and warranty policy from Samsung Australia. Don’t purchase, save yourself the $1000 odd dollars and hassle dealing with the nonsense customer care. Prior to failure machine was okay though a lot of modes have weight restrictions well below the 11 kg selling point.
Never again purchase from Samsung online. Look else where.

Stay away from Samsung washers. Spent $1000 on a unit that RRPs for $1500 only for it to break after 3 years and Samsung do nothing but offer you a discount to buy another one save yourself the time hassle and money.

Great Washing Machine???? – The washing machine is less than two years old (purchased prior to September 2026). Recently, the machine began leaking water, and I contacted Samsung for support. Following their investigation, Samsung advised that the damage was due to "physical damage caused by, among other things, misuse, incorrect operation, or failure to follow the Product Operation Manual or manufacturer's instructions."
However, I do not understand how the damage could have been caused by misuse or incorrect operation. I have provided photos and a video showing that the damage is located inside the washer. Based on its location, it appears more likely that an internal component may have become detached and caused the damage, rather than the issue resulting from customer misuse.
To date, no evidence has been provided to explain how normal use of the appliance could have caused this internal damage. I would appreciate a detailed explanation supporting Samsung's conclusion that the damage was caused by misuse or incorrect operation.
In addition to the inconvenience caused by the appliance failure, I have incurred more than $100 in laundromat expenses over the past two weeks while waiting for Samsung's investigation to be completed.
