Good for the short term but did not last long enough to justify the purchase – This was a cheap mower bought in COVID when there were few other mowers available. It was good enough at first but the self propel soon gave up the ghost. Any repairs that needed replacements took months due to difficulty in obtaining parts. Now it is failed altogether after less than 3 years and two repairers have advised it is not worth fixing.… Read more
I am on the way to its last stop at the dump. Don't buy this. It would be cheaper to pay someone to mow your lawn instead of spending all the money on repairers.
Best mower I have owned – I bought my bull ant mower six years ago, it has mowed around 3000 square meters for around 4 years sadly after 6 years the motor starts first time but due to my neglect the chassis has rusted, I will be back for another, it never broke the bank was reliable and sad to see the old girl retired Thank you Show details
Ok for price – I have used this mower now for 6 years so i can't complain too much. Only issues I have had were firstly I have had to replace the starter unit as the chord recoil spring became untangled. Secondly the catcher never catches the grass properly. I managed to get a catcher that fitted and even it still doesn't catch the grass. Just a poor design but for the price I can't whinge. It still starts first or second go so that's a plus Show details
3 Plus Years SGS – Bought the cheapest mower I could find, didn't expect much from it but am totally satisfied with this litle performer, eat the lawn perfectly. It is best to get it done weekly in growing season, when it gets a bit high it does need to be nursed along otherwise absolutely fantastic. Show details
Great little mower, keep it maintained it gives great service – Tough little mower, slightly smaller cut/ service it before and after season it starts easy and periodically tune it for best power. Bought thus over 5 years ago and runs like it did day one. Tough, reliable and cheap, great unit Show details
Just a heapof junk – After using 5 times the bolt holding the blade became loose causing the blade to stop turning. After fixing that the propelling belt jumped off the pully due to the cover not stopping the grass clippings entering the belt shroud so causing a buildup and then the belt keeps jumping off. If the mower is used uo to a wall it is near impossible to… Read more
pull backwards as the "clutch" will not disengage. The frame of the mower gets caught on any uneven tussock of grass and just sits there and the wheels spin.
died after 9 months. no way to get fixed under warranty without receipt. Sanli unhelpful – was great until we couldn't start it again. I have never before had a mower die so quickly. Sanli was incredibly unhelpful as was Stratco when it came to the point that we could not find the receipt even though we had a purchase information on the credit card statement and the serial number. Do not buy this machine. Show details
Avoid this mower – Never again . Less than 12months & needing repairs for the second time ,apparently not covered by the warranty This mower was difficult to start , & blew smoke , frequently stopping . Beware of 5 year warranty seems many things aren’t covered Show details
Hate it – I would strongly urge you to not buy this mower. it sprays more dirt and grass clipping up into your face then it manages to catch with it's poorly designed catcher, it smokes terribly and when you contact the company about the awful smell and the constant revving of the motor they won't honor the warranty until I pay for their technician to look it over and the only tech is a 4 hour drive away. do not buy this! – only used the mower for 4 hours when it stopped propelling and then the cord broke. they would not honour the warranty and tried to blame us instead of admitting there were faults. Show details
