the correct noise,the plate turner and fan all work,and it makes the right noise,but no heat at all.

Im on the phone now to Sanyo,see what we can do .[See update below]

Personally if I could find an old style microwave with just a timer knob,and none ofr the other bells and whistles I would be happy.

Another annoying thing is the loud beeper every time you push a button, or when the food had finished the cycle.

If one is into heated late snacks,it wakes the whole house,and the beep can not be turned off!!!.

Update from Phone call to Sanyo service number on their site.Seems Sanyo do no longer make or sell Microwaves,it has been taken over by Panasonic,and as its the "Inverter" that has gone faulty,it would cost as much as buying a new Microwave to replace.
