Good Looking .... Shame about performance – Great looking oven (90cm upright - Black with brass trims) As mentioned by others gas hotplate section fine. Easy to clean and performance good. That's the sole positives. Oven never came with a detailed instruction book only a very small photo copied manual that wasn't relevant to the model we have. When question the manufacturer agent in… Read more

Victoria they said that is all they supply so you operate by guess from day one.

Oven never heats up enough making baking a long, long process.

Has never reached full temperature with red light remaining on all the time instead of going out when temp reached.

Near impossible to cook cakes as heat uneven and forget about a decent grill. It just doesn't happen.

Heat escapes from oven making knobs too hot to handle.

Problems from early on with broken shelf (replaced no problem), then a gas burner unit needed replacing. After 4 years hinges needed replacing and that was a marathon effort with the replacement ones (guaranteed as the only ones ever made for this oven) not matching the original ones causing 3 visits to fit them. They wouldn't even concede when given photo of difference in originals and replacement.

Oven seal split into 3 sections after 4 years.

And forget about good customer service from the supplier. They are arrogant, condescending and charge like wounded bulls for parts = $164 for 2 door hinges where most other ovens cost around $40 each

Great 2 fuel stove – The gas tops works great and the electric oven is brilliant and very fast to cook! Looks amazing too! Have had the oven for 4 years but only built our house this year so have been using it for 2 months and love it! It has 2 ovens and a plate warmer on the bottom. griller in the small oven is great too!  Show details

Savoir Faire 90cm upright stove. No problems whatsoever – I have had a Savoir Faire duel fuel 90cm stove for about 9 years now. I have never had any problems with it. The gas burners all work well, although I tend to use those on the left side more than the others, only due to their size, and the wok burner. Am happy with the oven, whether it is for grilling, baking or roasting. Doesn't take overly… Read more

long to heat, considering the oven size.

The timer works well, the seals do a great job and it's easy to keep clean.

Never had any problems. Can recommend this stove.

Not capable of cooking – Oven does not get hot enough. Pizzas, cakes, roasts etc. can be reheated but the oven cannot be used to cook or bake. The marks on the dials rub off and can't be seen and the rubber heat seal broke after only a few years. Please don't buy this oven.

looks good but does not do the job – Gas hot plates are good and easy to clean. Brought my oven 4 years ago and have just replaced it. Oven from day one was useless. I think the element is to small for the size of the oven therefore extending cooking time. Cakes never cook even. Had element replaced but did not help. Oven never seems to get hot enough. Fan started making horrible… Read more

noises after 1st year .A lot of heat seeps from oven door making controls too hot to touch while oven is going. Oven handle is all wonky. Numbers have been cooked off the dials. Looks good but there are much better ovens out there for the same price.

Savoir Faire oven okay so far – I have had this oven for 4 years and it has not failed either gas or electric, all works fie. I Bought the house with the oven in it and it is a very large/double oven size, too big for me so I feel I have to heat a large oven for no use. Dials are too hard to read and timer alarm stopped working almost immediately. As I live in the country it… Read more

is too expensive to get a serviceman out for that so I just put up with it. Nice looking unit. Gas hob very easy to clean and take apart various sections. Elec oven heats up fine but too big for single person use so I feel I waste a bit of energy to heat a large area. Don't like grills inside ovens - too hard to use and see what is going on. Don't like too small dials = v hard to read temperature and icons for different purposes. Also oven alarm stopped working almost in a few months.

Savoir Faire SFD900 – Do Not Buy this brand, oven never works, replaced the selector switch at huge cost, it gets all the oven heat and burns out, gas top is ok. the gas burners light only if you have them in an exact position so every time you clean it you will need to manipulate the burners to get a consistent ignition. Tried to roast a chicken when we first got… Read more

this, we turned it on and within a minute the wings and legs had flung off, you could start an engine the speed this thing spins at. What a rip off. It can be replaced Just about every thing

Don't Buy Savioir Faire Branded Freestanding Stoves or Ovens – I have had this stove for 3 years. The oven has never worked well. I have had it serviced as the oven was not heating up, and takes over an hour to heat up. The Serviceman says I have to use fan force for temperatures over 150 degrees. I have done that since, the oven still took close to an hour to heat up. 3 months past service and the oven will… Read more

not work at all, no power supply. We have checked the power supply it isn't that; now we have to pay again to have the oven serviced, and fixed again. Our last bill was $100, for him to walk in the door. We are buying a new stove. The gas hob was always ok and have no troubles with it. The Gas Hob was reliable & Energy efficient. It has never failed. The oven is the worst oven I have ever used, the temperature was never right, it took close to an hour to heat up, and the service was expensive and nothing changed.
