Unfortunately, my two cats refused to eat the dry cat food until I had to mix it in with other dry cat food as one of my cats became angry as he was hungry so I then mixed it in with other dry cat food. My sweet boy’s diet mostly consists of high quality/prescription dry food, and the odd home cooked shredded roast chicken (his favourite) & the occasional soup or stew.

After scooping out a tablespoon of the dry food for his breakfast to try, I noted the biscuits looked very similar in shape and consistency to the usual high quality brands I buy for him.

I felt really reassured of the quality by the description of Australian crafted premium nutrient dense formula, thoughtfully balanced with omega 3 & 6, natural prebiotics and high quality meat, free from any nasty artificial ingredients to ensure my happy healthy kitty remained that way.

It seems Prince Harry was equally impressed, as he had no hesitation in gobbling up the test tablespoon and sticking his nose in the top of the bag trying to tip it over for more. He cleaned his plate for both breakfast and dinner, and has been obsessed with it for the last 6 days, pointedly ignoring anything different that I offer him!

I may have created a demanding little brat with this, and have already placed an online order for another bag! Given his love of it, the amazing quality and knowing that feeding my rescue cat is helping to feed other rescue cats is a beautiful feeling, and I’m expecting to make SavourLife the primary dry food I buy in the future.

But would my own rescue boy, who mostly prefers dry food, home cooked warm shredded chicken & the occasional soup be interested?

As soon as I popped open the can I was hit with an actual real chicken scent and I wasn’t the only one to notice. By the time I set down the bowl of it for Prince Harry he pounced on it & quickly gobbled up half of the can in under a minute! He left the rest but returned an hour later to finish it off-not something he generally does with wet feed.

I gave a few cans to my mum for her 3 (slightly chubby, super spoiled) rescue cats. The verdict? They all licked their plates clean, and Mum was as impressed as I was with the quality of the chicken and thoughtfully balanced ingredients to ensure optimal health.

This definitely has the royal seal of approval!!!

My cats love wet food more than anything, and they absolutely went wild for the SaviourLife Chicken Pate. testing it! I was given this cat food to review by SaviourLife and my official taste testers are Biscuits (12) and Paudge (4). The girls could smell the food straight away when I opened it and they both came running to see what their cat mum had for them. I mashed up the pate on their plates, and they needed absolutely no convincing to dig in. They devoured every last bite, not a single speck was left behind. I'll definitely be buying this wet food again. It's very reasonably priced, and I love that the ingredient list is short, simple, and made up of quality ingredients. One of the ingredients is Yucca Shidigera extract, which helps reduce poo odour, and it really works! After reading more about it, I also discovered it may support gut health and has anti-inflammatory properties. I also love that SaviourLife donates 50% of all sales to cat rescue. Knowing that buying their cat food helps support shelter cats makes me just as happy as it makes my girls! This is definitely a wet food I'll be purchasing again, and judging by Biscuits' and Paudge's enthusiastic approval, I know it'll be a regular addition to our shopping list. The girls have been eating SaviourLife chicken Pate for a week now and there has been no problems at all.

I have been feeding my 4 cats this SavourLife Chicken Pâté Adult. Portions sizes were good for each can. Unfortunately i found it a bit thick but its also to be expected as a pate. All of my cats enjoyed it except 1 (as he prefers gravy over pate). It is also free from artificial flavours, colours, and preservatives which is a big plus and great for our kitties. I fed SavourLife chicken pate to Venice for approximately 6 days and she gradually liked it and ate it instantly with a little more enthusiasm. I fed around half the can each time, I found that the contents of a whole can are a large serving to my small cat. Savour Life wet cat food doesn’t have a strong smell or the fun texture of meaty chunks and gravy - unlike the other wet food brands that Venice is used to - so she wouldn’t have found it immediately appealing. I like that it has balanced ingredients, is nutritious and healthy, and I’m glad that my cat eventually enjoyed and ate it. Our cats took to these biscuits straight away and ate every bowl clean with zero hesitation. Visually, the bikkies are quite dark in color compared to the usual Whiskas biscuits we buy. had a more bland and subtle smell than what she is used to so it took her a while to want to eat it. At first I needed to mix it with her regular dry food, then she eventually ate it on its own. I like and appreciate that it’s not full of artificial flavours and colours (which give other dry food its bright colours and strong smell) but I guess that’s what initially appeals to my cat. Beyond the initial hurdle, the texture and size of each kibble was really suitable for my cat - not too small or too big and it seemed easy to chew. There is much to like about SavourLife Adult chicken dry cat food. The main ingredient is chicken meal, which is important as cats are obligate carnivores. and did not leave any behind. He was waiting excitedly at dinner time to eat these cans. So I would buy this again and recommend it to others as Leo enjoyed it. Savour Life seems to be good quality food with a higher meat content which is something I look for.

new Savourlife ones to start with and he would pick out the Savourlife biscuits and ignore his current ones so I could tell he really enjoyed the flavour. When he was eating just these the entire portion would be gone within an hour. I really liked that this dry food contains high quality chicken and is balanced in nutrition without artificial additives. Its a big positive that this dry food is made in Australia and that part of their profits are donated to pet rescue organisations. I would recommend buying Savourlife. My cat has been trying this one on and off she’s eats most of it, I love that it’s made from high quality ingredients and 90% real meat and organs!
