Major Disappointment – PLEASE only buy this unit if you are not going to want to use it for its intended purpose! This unit smoulders wood, it does not burn it. The lack of air flow within the firebox results in an always dirty glass door. When you open the door wether it be done slowly or not fills the room and house with that strong fire smoke smell. The one positive thing I can say about this unit, it looks aesthetically pleasing when not in use and is fully cleaned. We are a family who have been raised and brought up with wood heaters so this is not a new form of heating for us, this review is specifically to warn buyers of this particular unit.

Worst purchase ever – Bought to heat a very small (72 sqm) new build. Is supposed to comfortably heat a 200 sqm house and have low emissions. This is apparently a bit of a joke the manufacturer is playing on buyers. In reality, it emits a smog so dense that your neighbours will complain and barely heats the area a metre in front of it. Oh, and you will have to keep the door open to get enough air to the fire to prevent it going out so you can expect it to fill your house up with smoke as well. Word from the manufacturer is that cold air fills up the chimney and prevents the smoke from escaping and this is TOTALLY normal. Makes you wonder how they manage to not die of smoke inhallation in countries where the temperature goes below 5°C - perhaps they simply know how to make wood fire boxes that work for the intended purpose though.
