Must have the worst return policy I've come across. The product purchased had an issue that wasn't disclaimed at time of purchase and the business refused to refund. Customer Service stops with your payment – I have made two purchases from SM in the past 12 months. The first was an amplifier and leads. The latest was a couple of sets of strings. On both occasions I had problems with the courier/delivery. I eventually got the amplifier and leads. proof of this and I definitely never received them. Throughout my most recent experience I felt that SM really couldn’t care less about me as a customer. I kept being told that they were waiting on Proof of Delivery from the courier. After 10 days of this and a number of requests for a refund I have given up on expecting one. I am just so thankful that the items were not high value. From my experiences and reading the reviews on the Net, if anything goes wrong with your transaction, Scarlett Music cannot be relied on to have your back. This will definitely be my last purchase from them.

ripped off – Stay away the worse service. They left it up to me to search for their parcel they sent me that went missing. After a few days communicating with their courier the parcel is lost and will not be delivered. Told Scarlet and forward the email to confirm. Now they keep sending me messages saying when they receive the parcel back they will refund me. What a joke. Good luck finding it. Crooks and scam.

Bought many different products and very happy – Have bought various small items such as strings, strap locks, cables, through different platforms (catch, ebay, kogan) - delivery has always been very quick (3 business days in Melbourne)

V Case Bass Guitar Case – After finally getting this from Scarlett Music (first one broken by the cheap couriers they use) the case does not hold the bass guitar in place. for the price of the case. He obviously hasn't read Consumer Affairs law which in Victoria states the item must be 'fit for purpose' ie: its a bass guitar case so it should house and support a bass guitar. I thought surely this guy is joking right, but nope he was dead serious. Obviously has no clue at all.....or, is passing off faulty b stock at full price! I'll leave that for others to decide.

proprietor of the company replied to my email immediately and during the weekend, very apologetically and concerned and with a reply paid label for the goods to be returned at no cost to me. An additional remedy was also offered. As it happened I decided to keep the goods but after this experience I would have no hesitation in buying from Scarlett Music in the future or recommending them to others for musical instruments.
