DO NOT USE!Burnt my lawn!
Don’t use it! They need to stop selling this product. I’ve used others and it does wonders and I thought I’d give this a try and ruined my lawn! Now it will take me months to get it back to where I need! I’m still in shock! Show details

Its good but use extraI used to think this was a bad product, but then I worked out that as it is slow reales over a few months, you have to put on a few months worth. Now it works like a charm. Dont use an abrasive spreader as that chips the coating and lets the fertiliser release all at once, which is the reason people think it burns. Show details
Killed my entire lawnUsed this garbage about 2 weeks ago following the instructions Perfectly.
Spent the last 2 weeks watching my entire lawn die. So many reviews saying the same thing. You should stop selling this crap. I've spent alot of time and effort making my lawn look good and now it's all dead. Couldn't be more disappointed. I won't be buying your horrible products ever again. Show details
yellow lawn scotts fertiliser lawn builderI used a hand distributor to fertiliser the lawn, watered it in, and within 24 hrs many patches of perenial rye grass were yellow and dead similar to your first writer. A week later the condition had not improved. What can I do???

Love itBest lawn fertiliser I have ever used, my lawn looks amazing! I started using it two years ago after advice from a curator and I have recommended it to my friends ❤️ Show details · 1
It worksI use the extreme green slow release, I dont think it works in 3 days but give it a week or so and you see a difference.
Have used it for a few years, trying to apply just before or during rain, has thickened the grass, really greens the lawn and reduced clover greatly.
I have a weed infested reserve on one side of house and a neighbouring lawn which is more clover than grass but I only have to deal with the odd patch of clover seasonally, I generally over fertilise the area with clover and it doesn't like the nitrogen rich extreme green.
If you don't apply with rain recommend a really good watering in.
Great product by Scotts. Show reply
BEWARE this product kills your lawnBefore and after photos - taken 2 days apart. I applied as recommended. It's safe to say I am more than disappointed. Stay clear of this product or use at your own risk. Show details
Lawn killer, weed promoterI bought a 15Kg bag and the recommended Scotts Drop Spreader from Bunnings Smithfield (Cairns) Qld. I assembled and calibrated the spreader to the recommended spread rate, and applied about a month ago. My mostly cooch with some broader leaf lawn grass has now mostly died off and the weeds have exploded. We have received a lot of rainfall since I applied the fertiliser. I am bitterly disappointed with the result given the glowing reviews from other users. Show details
I Love This Fertilizer - Just Don't Overdo ItThis stuff is GREAT. I generally fertilize twice per year - in Autumn to get it through Winter, and in Spring to give it a headstart on the coming Summer.
I have used Soctts Lawn Builder exclusively for years now, and it is like steroids for the lawns - they are thick and green and lush. All of my neighbours ask me what I use, and my answer has always been the same - Scotts Lawn Builder. $80 ish will get you a 15kg pack which will do the entire yard - cheap at twice the price!
There are application instructions on the back of the pack, and yo… Read more · 1u really should read them. I have a Scotts fertilizer dropper and I use the recommended settings and I have never burnt my lawn. Except for one time, I must have bumped up against the retaining wall, and this caused a heap of fertilizer to fall out of the spreader unbeknown to me. A week later I found a dead patch of grass with a strip of pellets right down the middle - rookie mistake. I have tried many other products over many years - this is definitely the best. Just don't over-do it.
Burnt lawn and turned in brownI was excited to use this product having been recommended it from a Bunnings sales person. I followed the instructions and distributed it on my lawn and watered it the follow day (as per the directions on the packet). Within 48 hours my lawn turned yellow-y, followed by big brown burnt patches everywhere. Incredibly disappointing feeling to pay top dollar to effectively kill your lawn. I held off writing this review for 7 days in the hope it would improve, but it's unfortunately only gotten worse over time. Be warned future buyers of this product. Show details
Love this stuffI’ve been using this product for 2 years now, my lawn is a deep green, thick and luscious. All my neighbours ask what I use and I tell them. They now have the beautiful green lawns also. This is such a great product and it doesn’t smell like some manures. Highly recommend
Good stuff !My grass turned not only green but thick and healthy. Easy to apply does not burn lawn, use 2 or 3 times a year.. even the bare patches all gone and grass has grown over them ! Highly recommend this product for my buffalo lawn and not expensive at all, good value for money !
Excellent Lawn FertiliserThis is the best lawn fertiliser that I have ever used. It thickens the lawn quickly and drowns out the weeds over time. Although you can get away without watering it in until the next rain, I highly recommend to at least give the lawn some water after application. Especially if applying on hot days.
Excellent product, delivers on all aspects of sales informationI can highly recommend the product, keeps my lawn of Queensland Blue Couch in top condition, even in the cooler winter months. The product certainly delivers and well worth the investment in ensuring a pleasing garden environment. Definitely out performs any other product I have previously been using. Looking forward to another great season with the product in 2017.
