We went to an Adelaide 40 winks store looking to buy a mattress. We went through the process getting the perfect mattress for our sleeping habits. We stipulated several times that as a couple we are both hot sleepers and wanted the coolest mattress possible in the posturepedic range. We were given a couple selections and we opted for the most expensive one in our budget, which mind you is still a pricey mattress. We tested it in store and it seemed like the perfect fit. After taking it home when it was ready we realized after the first night that it was not a cool mattress. Yes, it has excellent side support and it is a very comfortable mattress, but both of us being hot sleepers we found that a cool mattress it is definately not!!. When you go in store and you test a mattress, or the so called experienced staff select a mattress to tailor you, you only lie down on that mattress in the store for how long ? 5minutes? 10 minutes? With your clothes on obviously and with no covers on you. The mattress in store seemed to be cool in the 10 minutes that we lied on it, but in a real sleeping situation, we both found it a very hot mattress to sleep on. We bought it in winter time too. I would hate to sleep in it in summer time. I would be pooling in sweat !! So if your a cold sleeper, this mattress would be ideal, but hot sleepers stay away from this one !!

Yes Sealy, the mattress doesnt generate heat. I wrote this review to warn people that this Sense gel material retains heat, not generate heat like in your email responce. I hope someone else that has bought this mattress will actually write an honest review like i have to warn others that are hot sleepers to stay away from this one !!
