Had it fixed twice by Sealy in 4 years – Purchased Sealy ensemble Manhattan 4 years ago and one of the sides collapsed after 2 years. spring has been replaced with a different system as well as getting new sides so it really isn't a Manhattan anymore. Our previous bed is 18 years old and guests still say it is comfortable.

Matress give back pain – I dont know why peaple saying this matress is hard as a rock unless there is a firm matress in the line. The matress I have is a pillowtop. At first lyingong on it is comfortable. That is why bought it. Then from sinking in at my rear I have no lumbar suport. From this I am in paine. took it away for repair on getting it back again its even harder than before im so not happy. This mattress is terrible if you have bad shoulders or back I wouldn't recommend

can not sleep on this and are so sore . Trying to make the bed is impossible because it is so heavy what a waste of money for us .

Absolutely perfect – The Sealy Posturepedic Manhattan Firm mattress is comfortable, firm, with a comfy gel top, supportive and just beautiful to sleep on. Sealy Manhattan Medium! Terrible Mattress!!! Use if you want pain all over your body!!! And you don’t enjoy sleep!! – This mattress has been a terrible waste of money!! Sagging after 1 month – Absolute rubbishy mattress with minimal consideration from Sealy. Followed all the necessary spinning of the mattress which didn't solve any of the sagging problem. providing support

Just a follow-up on my previous posting. The bed was picked up by Sealy and the expectation was that the severe sagging would be fixed. Initially things seemed to be OK but not so as the bed is back to its unacceptable sagging. It is just poor design engineering. I've recently spent a few days sleeping on a Motel commercial posturepedic mattress. Compared to Sealy it was much much superior and actually provided me with a satisfactory sleep. Time Sealy got their act together.

Great for a bad back – After developing a bad back from another brand that was plush and far too soft I had to start again with a new mattress. I decided to purchase a Sealy as it was the one in store that seemed to offer the support I needed in my sore lower back. now is I’m finding it hard to wake up on time. So I highly recommend Sealy. The mattress was very firm when I first got it and with each sleep it seems to break in and become better and better I also think there was a period where my back was adjusting to getting proper support. It was abit smelly from the manufacturer process so I recommend washing your mattress protector every second wknd as I did for a couple of months as it absorbs that foam smell but that’s gone now so Super mattress really marvellous to sleep on. I now wake every morning with a huge smile

It has made a real improvement – It is a very comfortable mattress and is helping us sleep so much better. The firm edge is good and secure to sit on as well. The bed matches our requirements exactly.  Show reply
