told me it was bad luck and I should have spent at least 20 minutes lying on the one in the shop to make sure we liked it.(who does that?). I then contacted Sealy who told me that the springs had been changed to a new titanium spring which made them firmer. You can actually feel them through the foam. They offered to cut us a piece of extra foam to put on top, but doing this made no difference. It's been on the spare bed ever since. I would stay away from any of the big name companies, especially when they spruik 50% off the price of a mattress, they're worse than rug stores with their supposed discounts.... There are some other options like the Ikea mattresses which we bought for our daughter and some other smaller players like Koala which we'll try next. This thing can go to charity, although that would be cruel....

Not the same as in store! – Could feel memory foam when testing the matress instore and told that it has memory foam in the middle section of matress, it was a firm instore. after buying a solace encore firm then after the 60night sleep guarantee i changed over for a plush i was told by the salesman that the matress in the store Felt softer from people lying on it so often… Read more

during its display and mine would soften up soon enough! Well its been 12months and ive never had a comfortable sleep on either plush or firm. After delivery and before swapping for the plush i returned to the store to check the feel of the display matress, a noticeable difference! I did contact sealy and they said i could have the matress tested at there warehouse at my expense if it was made with the right materials inside. They also wouldn't send a rep to the store I purchased from to see the diffrences, also told they were on back order for a while. After reading the review above it seems im not the only one who noticed a difference in feel from display to delivered! I know i can also pay sealy to rebuild the matress for me at a fixed price but ide rather them come to me with a sample of the memory foam and a pair of scissors and open mine up to see whats inside! Im absolutely 100% sure mine has no memory foam in it! I doubt they would take me up on coming to check my matress. Also i noticed my ensemble base is marked firm but after switching matress to plush I wonder if I should have been supplied a plush enemble base from the retailer. After 12months im not convinced 65years of experience or design is in this matress! Or any material of any particular quality. When i can afford to upgrade to a better mattress i will.

Awesome Mattress – This particular mattress is the best I've ever had. Very comfortable and supports all the important parts of my body. I really look forward to going to bed every night because I have the best nights sleep every time!  Show details ·  2

Earthquake every time my wife moves the bed shakes . Other than that not too bad – Yes supports quite well ,but fell very movement ,seem to warm to easy in summer . Yes mattress quite durable as compared to others I've had . Would look at another next time . As this one not quite what I expected.  Show details

Such uncomfortable sleeps! – I have a queen size Solace Plush mattress which I've been sleeping on for about 4 years. I turn it quite regularly but for the last year I have been so uncomfortable and wake every day with an aching back. in spots everywhere. And when I turn it I just get the saggy spots back again. I've tried to believe it's not the mattress but I know it definitely is. I am very disappointed as I spent a lot of money hoping to get comfort and support, and for it to last many years. I can't afford to buy another one for now. I'm almost reduced to replacing it with a hard little futon!!! A very disappointing purchase.

uncomfortable. I now have to sell it and I won't even get half the value of the $2.5k spent on it. Very disappointing.
