company and not sold in Harvey Norman, Good Guys. Choice gave the brand a very good review so I decided to contact them. Right from the very beginning their customer service was faultless even suggesting the cheaper model would be better for my carpet. They went to the trouble of trying to find out the make if my carpet and even asking me to measure how high the pile was. They also asked me to measure the height between my bed base to the carpet. In the end I settled for the Sebo X7 Boost and I really like it. It's very powerful and it is a stand up model and although there is a cord, I dont have to drag around my heavy barrel one. It will go over a high pile jute rug but not a light flat rug. It's a bit like the old Volta ones I used many moons ago which was also very powerful. If you want a good vaccum without having to worry about batteries and only being restricted to a short vaccuming time due to the battery running down, then I highly recommend this one. They also have other models so give them a call and you won't be sorry with the customer service and knowledge about the brand. Very happy!

For continually shedding dogs this machine is a must! – The wife ended up destroying our old Hoover out of sheer frustration. to the Sebo, the Hoover was better then the Dyson, but this vacuum is the pick of them. The long power lead makes it easy to reach places throughout the house where the old unit wouldn’t. Only complaint is that it won’t fit under the bed. Definitely the vacuum to choose when you have pets.

Great Vacuum but – I bought this vacuum about a year ago after reading all the excellent reviews. I replaced a Dyson so was expecting big results. never worked and it lowers itself to the hard floor height when on low pile carpet. Other than that, great machine. I will look at another one later based on the hose issue though.

hand hose. Pleased to read in the manual that the brush retracts up so it doesn’t have this issue. Basically what you expect (but don’t always get) from German manufacturers and in love already ! Design has covered all work well with this unit and should last many years if used and maintained correctly. Highly recommend the X7 AUTO

knowing my house looks great when they walk in the door.

My well known brand stickvac wouldn't work in BOOST mode on my soft SDN carpet so my carpet wasn't getting cleaned properly. With inside dogs (Black hair) the place can get dirty pretty quickly, hair, sand, grit, grass clippings, you name it! I felt like I was vacuuming every second of the day. I wish I had of known before investing over $1000 on a stickvac that it wouldn't clean my carpet properly. It was the carpet guy who recommended the SEBO X7 to me, they use it for their jobs, and it's BOOST mode is awesome!!! Now I only have to vacuum once and all the bits and pieces get sucked up into the bag. Yes, yes it has bags BUT the beauty of these SEBO bags is I don't have to wipe or wash anything - that's one less chore on my plate. The brush roller lifts my carpet pile up and I can tell it's searching for every last dirt particle between the fibres. I'm super pleased with the SEBO X7 Boost Upright and I know my doggies are too! One very clean house here.

And as soon as I arrived home, the lovely George arrived with my replacement part, apologised for any inconvenience, and had me smiling in no time. It moves over the different surfaces with ease as you don't have to manually adjust the settings and there is not one dog hair left behind. The hose extension is amazing as it retracts automatically.
