The cable is a bit too long for general use, but there are definitely times when it comes in handy. So if you really want, you can have two cables, and use whichever is appropriate. Being able to replace the cables is definitely a good thing. I've lost too many expensive headphones to the cable breaking where it joins with the earpiece. Absolutely amazing sound quality. I've gone through a few generations of earphones and headphones, but these are by far the best.

Replaceable cable incase it goes wrong! A weakness in the plastic at the top of the adjustment band. Can break there if you're not careful, but there's essentially no difference in functionality if it does.

OK – i bought some american made koss's that suit my purpose better (DJing at clubs) , these ones distort at too low volume and don't have the build quality of the koss's , but they would be good if you can find them cheap , say at Detachable ear pieces and detachable cables (from earpieces) were handy , sound quality was good although slightly lacking… Read more

in bass , comfortable distorts at quite a low volume , cheapish build quality (seems expensive for what you buy) , made in china , not the best at blocking outside noise

Excellent – Fantastic sound quality with the advantage that I don't get into trouble for having the stereo too loud! Very Comfortable to wear, large ear pads. Bought these last year and just love them. It is the second set of Sennheiser headphones that I have owned. I only replaced them because they were very old and starting to fall apart.
