Meat smelt so bad – I purchased 2x porter house steaks and 2x 500g trays of lamb cutlets along with 2x 500g trays of chump chops. Upon opening the meat, the smell was so bad, it was definitely off or not stored correctly prior to me taking it home. I had to throw all the meat out. I was so disappointed! Never again.

questionable freshness – great selection. meat looks great in window. but maybe some of it is often very close to the end of its shelf life. this is the second time and the third purchase, I have got it home and it smelled off. while probably just edible if I cooked it straight away, I did not want to risk it. either way the smell put me off cooking it or keeping it any longer or freezing it, which I should be able to do, given the premium paid for organic meats. and I threw it away. shame because they have a great selection of organic meats and great location. and this may not reflect all of their meats, but I cant afford to risk it again
