Do not like this machine – I have had the tech out 4 times including coming out for 1 minute twice and saying I have to get a part. They have changed all the pcbs and it still runs over the time. If I put it on for 1 hour it is still going for at least 30 mins then I have turned it off, in what I assume is cool down. I am using the timer setting so I would expect it to all be finished in that time. Show details

Excellent dryer, good value for money !!! – We bought this dryer around six months ago after looking at many dryers, it has been an excellent dryer and fantastic value for money, built very sturdy and strong, very nice looking dryer to, I would highly recommend this dryer to anyone with a family or just a couple like us !!! Show details

A step backward from earlier model – I had the previous model which I loved for it’s simplicity. This one is still basic compared to other brands but I really preferred the way the older one operated. This one does not have the hot/warm settings. rotate of the clothes. When the drying in this model ends you have to then manually turn the knob to off as the light stays on until you do. Not good if you have someone who puts their clothes in and then leaves it all night like my daughter. Seems to have a lot of setting options added so if you prefer those it’s good. I still prefer just opting for how long I want it to go which thankfully it still has that option. I really dislike the new very long pauses between tumbles for the last part of drying. I just preferred the older model and had I known how this one operated and had mine not died at an inconvenient time, I most likely wouldn’t have purchased this one.

Quiet machine – Dryer is quiet, easy to use and great value for money. I have owned 2 Simpson dryers and they have both worked perfectly every time. Highly recommend this unit to anyone wanting a simple, easy to use dryer.  Show details

Good but expensive to run – Amazing at drying clothes! It makes our laundry hot and steamy and costs a fair bit to run though. It does what its meant to do so can't fault it really. Show details

Great Dryer – This was bought to replace another Simpson dryer that had lasted 25 years. Could not be more pleased with this appliance, it drys quickly and does not crumple clothes.
