I need a new dryer to replace the current dryer (Fisher and Paykel) which is fading fast. The new dryer must connect to an exhaust vent in the ceiling above the right rear of the dryer. The only photos I have seen of the Simpson show a vent to the front. I need a dryer with a vent at the right rear. Please advise.

Hello, may i talk with a Simpson rep who knows how to operate this dryer please. I cannot seem to get the dryer to dry the load of clothes, no matter which program i select. The dryer starts operating, but when I come back down 10-15 mins later, the tumble action/drum rotation has stopped and the door window has moisture droplets on the inside and clothes are still very damp! I have read the manual slowly, at least 5 times!! Please, can you tell me what i am doing wrong or what is happening here. This dryer is a replacement for the on I bought 5 days ago (same model) but it did the same thing and neither the local store sales person(s) nor the Simpson person could work it out ... faulty machine. The same thing has happened so I reckon 2x faulty machines are highly unlikely ... please, I need to learn how to work out how to use this dryer correctly. I purchased Simpson 6.5 kg dryer in April this year and smell burnt and not spinning is still under warranty

I wouldn't play around with it, it's under warranty so use that and get it fixed or replaced.

Does this model come with a Smart electronic module or it is a simple machine? We need a dryer which will work on the vessel with 220 V Ac and 60 hz power supply.

The dryer Is a simple twist dial with the options on the dial and can me mounted upside too !, I picked this manufacturer as it’s the same model we use on the mine sites and if it can take the abuse they get on site then they will last a long time at home Hope this helps Darren

Found $599 lowest price, bricks & mortar outlets without installation, delivery, old unit removal. $499 RRP shown below is increase of $200 in just over 12 months. Grateful for sales outlet suggestions at more affordable price soon. Winter coming - need dryer urgently. Recently disposed of old washing machine. Bought Simpson to match existing Heavy Duty Simpson Dryer. Absolutely sensational, used periodically, lasted 45 years. Simpson Dryer stopped working shortly after new Simpson washing machine installed.

Find a "seconds" place near you. Possibly Harvey Norman clearance - not sure if they have that where you are. I found this at a seconds place for almost half price because it has a small dent in the side.
