SleepMaker Duracoil Plus

Love our Duracoil Bed – We have had this bed for approx 8 years and it has been an excellent purchase. The staff at 40 Winks were spot on with their recommendation. The material used and the construction of the bed is first rate. The mattress has kept its shape perfectly. We have been very happy. Good support right out to edge, minimum partner disturbance, durability.

Terrible – would not recommend this to anyone primarily because of the exteme bounciness of the bed. anyone suffering from even the slightest motion sickness should avoid at all costs! when mentioned to the company of purchase they didn't want to know saying there was nothing wrong with the bed and we could take it up with sleepmaker if we didnt like it. okay for one person to sleep on only. We bought a king size bed around August 2010. Initially the wheel coasters were too high and the company agreed to change these to a non-wheel system. These however squeak quite badly when sitting or lying on the bed which is on floor boards. What is the worst thing about the bed, the spring system is so bad that any slight movement causes a "wave" motion and is quite disturbing and wakes you up. The springs don't seem to have anything between them to avoid the vibration caused by movement (imagine constant bouncing movement on a trampoline). This is so bad that only one of us is sleeping on the bed and the other in the spare room. Also the fabric used on the pillow top is quite itchy and the bed is very hot. We had a full latex mattress for ten years before buying this bed and the heat was nowhere near the heat of this bed. We are happy to sell this bed to anyone who wishes to buy it at a discount (cost just under $3,000) as we are now buying another bed to save our sanity.

Excellent – Excellent product for me. Had the best sleep on it. I would love to buy one now if someone is selling one [contact details censored] I had the best sleep in years on this mattress while housekeeping my sister's house. Was there for a week and my back pain vanished - i woke up full of energy every morning. Since then I have been looking for this type of mattress but have not found one for sale yet.
