Terrible mattress – My late husband and I purchased 6.5 years ago, two king single mattresses and base and one queen size mattress and base (all fuse climatex mattresses) The two king singles made noises. The rep came out, took one away- returned in the same state. These 2 beds have been hardly slept in. The queen size mattress disturbs my sleep making noises every… Read more

time I move in bed. We spent in total $6,000. What a waste of money. I will never deal with Snooze again. You should get at least 10 years use out of a mattress. This is a poor brand!

Terrible and Sleepmaker know it! – We purchased this mattress from Snooze as it was recommended to us as we suffer lower back issues. We have a slate bed and was told this was perfect. Only 2.5yrs later there is permanent impressions of 2.5cm where we sleep. Service is terrible saying they allow up to 3.5cm dips before they consider it an issue. We only weigh 65 & 70kg. They… Read more

offered an assessment but we would have to pay if they found it normal! Not at all happy given what we spent and that it's supposed to have a 10yr warranty, but I guess if they are self regulating what is normal then the warranty really means nothing! Never buying from either Snooze or Sleepmaker again!

Worst bed I have ever had! – We purchased the align latex, 3 months in it sagged terribly. The bed has been 'repaired' twice now and we're back at square one. Only now rotating the mattress the whole bottom of it has opened up with foam and the inside of the mattress visible! Horrible quality for a $2000 mattress. My back and hips have never been so bad.

Waste of money! – My neck and back problems are worse since purchasing this mattress. Complained to Sleepmaker that the mattress was too hot! Sales lady was very patronising and told us to sleep with the window open and not too have a HOT shower before retiring! Mattress is too heavy, making it difficult to make and rotate. Expensive, bad service

Not happy Fran! – I am also very annoyed after spending so much money on a mattress I cannot sleep on. I, like most of you, have just been told that there is nothing I can do about this mattress by Sleepmaker. Although they have a 10 year warranty and I have only had the mattress for one year. I wake up constantly with a sore back and have resided to sleeping back… Read more

on my old the Posturepeodic mattress which I purchased 15 years ago. I was told a soft mattress was better for you as it formed around your body which was the most natural thing to do. What a waist of money!

Great night's sleep on this mattress – We wake up very rested from this mattress. It was expensive, but we have been very happy with it. I am surprised that it has so many poor reviews on this page. It is hotter than our previous mattress, but we just reduced our coverings to suit. I like NOT having to bury myself in coverings to get warm on a cold night and in summer we just use a sheet, which is very comfortable. Comfort Expensive, but there is worse on the market.

Terrible – Nice to lay on, horrendous to actually sleep on...Have been sleeping on the fusion for about 18 months and have progressively experienced worsening back pain which I have not had before. Slept on different beds and back ache goes away. Wake up stiff and sore in the morning and this improves as the day goes on so clearly the back pain is caused by… Read more

the mattress. Very expensive piece of crap. Have bought another mattress and will have delivered next week. Surely couldn't experience bad luck again.

too soft, no support.

Terrible – this is a highly overated mattress and very expensive.we both noticed a reduction in support and hollowing in the first twelve months and often had to sleep somewhere else. this bed is not slept in every night as we are shift workers. we have rotated it as per instructions. our backs and neck suffer extreme pain as its like sleeping in a hammock… Read more

and we dont really need or can use a pillow. the bed squashes down so much that we are literally sleeping on nothing. we have sent it too sleepmaker to be assessed and one person said the technician put fillers in (why would you need too on such a new mattress) and another representative from sleepmaker said there was nothing wrong with it..?

we have now just recently sent it back again as it is getting worse. sleepmaker are quite curt on the phone and i can only come to the conclusion that they are fed up with complaints about this product.their attitude is bad luck ,their policy is to repair or replace so if they want to replace my mattress every 12 months thats fine by me , but i would rather have a new type of superior support mattress equivalent to the price i paid for the EUPHORIA model, the rep from sleepmaker said we could keep the replacement mattress they gave us while ours is being assessed once again as an exchange and mind you it is very comfortable and our spines are in allignment,,im sure it didnt cost as much as what we paid for ours that being over $ 3,000. this is a big company and when the rep said it must be a comfort problem..like derr..dont they sell mattresses to provide comfort not discomfort. this mattress has nothing to be desired and should be pulled of the market . initially in the first nine months it was great but i did notice it was getting less supportive memory foam was too slow .not supportive, too soft, slows the body from turning appropriate amounts of time throughout the night causing pressure points

Terrible – Don't be conned by how comfortable this mattress seems when you try it in the store...We spent over $5k on this mattress and are so disappointed to find out it has major problems. My husband slept on the floor last night his back was so sore. :( I will be ringing Snooze this morning to find out what can be done...will update when we know!… Read more

Comfortable for the first 6 months, then when the holes where you sleep develop its comfortable for the first 10 minutes. We both now have back problems...this mattress was great at first but then the support underneath the visco foam started sinking under where we sleep. Its like sleeping in a big hole in the spots that we normally sleep, but in the middle of the bed its still supportive and ok.

Terrible – The after sales service from sleepmaker is also hopeless. We've written to bot them and DJs (from whom we bought it) on several occasions - but they have our $$ and that's all they care about. Forget about DJs promise about returning goods if you are not satisfied - it dosen't stand up. I don't recommend buying sleepmaker of from DJs. I would rate… Read more

Terrible – I would not recommend this mattress to anyone due to its obvious inability to retain it's firmness. The reviews on this website could have been written by both my husband and myself! We have only just begun negoitiations with Snooze, who we purchased the mattress from - not sure what will be offered (if anything) or whether it is worth following… Read more

it up if all they do is add a filler. I think we might just buy a cheap firm foam mattress and replace it every 2 - 3 years. Would certainly be cheaper in the long run. Such a shame as the Euphoria was the most we have ever spend on a mattress and a very big outlay at the time. Good for the first 6 months. Took a while to get used to it, but we both really liked it at first. (We bought a Sleepmaker Euphoria). Four years down the track, the mattress has now developed serious issues and is no longer firm, but sags in the middle causing both my husband and myself to wake up with very sore backs. We travelled to Vietnam over the Christmas period, and the contrast with the firm mattresses there to our sagging, soft mattress at home was staggering. I did not sleep well at all on the first night home.

Terrible – We are SO disappointed with the purchase. We invested a lot of money, on what initially seemed like a superior product, thinking we would have a satisfactory mattress for many years. Couldn't have been more wrong. I also wake up stiff and sore every morning, having been tensed up supporting myself through a night's sleep, rather than being… Read more

supported by the mattress.

Having travelled and slept in hotels 4-5 times since purchasing the mattress, and waking without the pain and stiffness, exemplifies the problems with this foam mattress.

Sleepmaker listened to our complaint about 6 months ago, took our mattress and supposedly inserted a firmer layer into the cushion top, this is the best they would do. We had to sign a waiver against any further complaint or action. It has made no difference. We are over it and we too, are off to buy a cheaper and firmer mattress this weekend.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS ONE.

too soft, too hot, really bad for your back

Every night is heaven! – We love our mattress! We've had ours for about 4 yrs now and actually get quite upset when we have to leave it as i know im going to have an aqweful nights sleep without it! There has not been one night go ny that i dont jump into my bed and go "ahhhh" as i am in heaven, in comfort and so instantly relaxed when i am in this bed. I would highly… Read more

Terrible – If I could give this mattress a negative rating I would. For the price and quality of the product in addition to the (lack of) service I simply don't think it's worth wasting your money. I was able to fit a lot of garbage in the plastic bag the mattress came in. After a couple of months the centre of the mattress started sagging despite following… Read more

Terrible – I am extremely disappointed with this mattress - especially now knowing that I have not been hasty in assuming a $5k mattress could be defective. When I purchased this mattress from Snooze, the sales guy (who was the manager, incidentally) went to great pains to tell us to give it "at least 6 weeks" for our bodies to adapt to it. Well, 6 months… Read more

have gone by and it hasn't gotten any better. I have since slept on numerous other mattresses during some travels. In some very average hotels with very average mattresses I had some of the best sleep I have had in a while.

I'm not sure what to do except write a review like this to stop any others spending good money on what is nothing but an overpriced piece of foam. I'll tell you when I find out. I stumbled across this review site while trying to see what options I had to get rid of this mattress. I thought it was just me being particular - how could anyone NOT like a $5k mattress? Unfortunately it seems that price has nothing to do with it. I sympathise with what the previous reviewers have written. I too have been experiencing back pain with this mattress. In the shop it seemed like a great sensation to be "sinking" into the mattress. Several months later it is has been the cause of many sleepness nights. The mattress is *stinking* hot in anywhere above 23 degrees Celsius and there is no relief for me aside from moving to the comparatively dreamy couch. Even a fan doesn't work as your body is so far embedded in the mattress that it never gets any air (those pin-holes in the latex do nothing!)
