very hard – if this is a plush i would hate to lay on their firm. It is as hard as a brick.

on a concrete floor tried to ring back customer service but she didnt return my calls always was out

so emails and phones calls later the mattress has gone back a second time this time she has told me the regional manager said that it is up to standard so now i have a mattress that i cant get into or sleep on so i ask to speak to regional manager but of course no response so look else where for a good mattress shop around

Don't bother, don't buy Sleepmaker – A saggy mattress, with a lovely great hump running straight down the middle after only a year and 1/2..... They "repaired" it... Can't even bring myself to sell it to some other poor unsuspecting victim. So Sleepmaker have my money, I have their crappy product, and for some strange reason it is the end user who is left with the issue to deal with... Strange for something with a 10 year warranty...

and the contact with sleepmaker is useless. As for the sag, Sleepmaker call this sleep signature.

Get a broom and lay it across the bed, lay on the hump in the middle they said. You would think that paying $1200 for a mattress with a 10yr warranty would get you some customer service but don't expect it. I intend to through this heap of junk in the bin now, but before I do I will pull the mattress apart and document my findings on video and post it everywhere I can in the hope that it may save others from wasting money and time and back problems from a company that will just turn people away with a genuine warranty issue.

Total rubbish – Stitching came undone sleepmaker had 4 go's at repair since then (2 months mattress has sagged). Worst mattress we ever owned. These people can not make decent quality anymore.

Second sleep maker we bought – Absolutely hate it. Pity you can't try overnight before spending $2000. What a waste if money. Looks nice felt ok in the shop. But sleep overnight and it has caused me to have left side pain continually. Our first sleep maker was wonderful. Lasted 10 years, that's why we bought sleep maker again. But not now. Never again

what I gather from previous reviews, sleepmaker then decide if the mattress is deemed faulty or not. What a joke, I have to go to all that trouble for them to turn around and tell me the mattress is fine! Never buy Sleepmaker and never buy from Harvey Norman!

a pocket spring mattress (another brand) from a smaller, different store where the salesman listened. Minimal partner movement.

Annoyed we listened to that original HN salesman (and they still selling them!). Feel ripped off for the price and have not let it happen again - learnt by our mistake!

Glad we didn't try customer service as the other writers - sounds like a waste of time!

Sagging, hip and backpain

DO NOT BUY!!! – Very poor product, dipping on one side. Had mattress replaced after 2 months of buying it. Getting the replaced mattress picked up for inspection in two weeks due to dipping again. complimentary USED mattress while they send the mattress for inspection... YUCK! very unhappy. If replaced once again and same thing happens, i will be taking it to Fair Trading Tribunal. These big companies seem to think they can get away with robbing peoples money with poor products. absolutely nothing!! Very poor quality.

Never buy it! – After 4 months of use mattress started to sag, tried to contact customer care, and was completely useful. Never nobody answered the phone, and none of my e-mails was answered. Terrible!

Ok at first, but very poor quality – We were given one of these as a lend mattress while our sleepmaker mat was repaired on warrentee. Over the few months I have used it I have noticed it starting to sag and loose its support- I am light weight and it is hard to believe that my 60kg's has done this much damage in such as short time. This appears to be endemic problem with the sleepmaker range- i would stay well away from the brand all together. very poor quality

Would not recommend this bed – I have always had a sleepmaker bed even as a child. Never had any problems with them and always a comfortable nights sleep. feels nice when you first lie on it (about half an hour) as for a full nights sleep, you wake up with shoulder, back and neck pain. Its to soft...

At this stage it has not started to sag however don't be deceived by the luxurious layer on top. If you used to a bed without the extra layer on top stick with it. The height is good
