Not fit for purpose, unless you’ve got a severe scoliosis & need surgery! – This was our third Dunlopillo latex bed, but by far the worst. Despite top of the line product $9900RRP, we thought we’d done well with 45% off sale at Myer. We should have run for cover, when SLeepmaker specialist Janet commented that we should try & sleep in the middle for the first few mths. Well that’s fine but we buy king beds for a reason.… Read more
This model had a new cheap base design without the old adjustable beech slats & side draws, but we were advised this was an improvement. “0ld design sagged a bit after time”. Anyway after 6mths it was sagging++ & my wife moved into the spare room. To their credit they took it away & rebulit he mattress & was good again for 8mths & then same again. Wife back to spare room. Then 2.5yrs of health issues & surgeries & finally reopened old claim. “No sir, that’s normal body contouring.” 7.5cm, it was 1/2 that last time & claim accepted. “It’s a sign that the mattress is working for you”. The fabric on underside of base has deteriorated & rotted & falls down like confetti. They offered to sell me a dust cover for $50. What a joke. Top of the line product with 10yr warranty not worth a pinch of proverbial. Run the other way from Sleepmaker!
Deep valleys – Absolutely gutted that I bought a highly regarded full latex mattress with a terribly unsupportive pillow top section that "doesn't stay flat", it keeps your body shape caves and valleys and disrupts yours and your partners sleep night after night. Not a well invested $4000+ bed. Our health and sleep are very important. Show details

Worst mattess ever! Dunlopillo Dorchester – Bought a very expensive Dunlopillo Dorchester mattress on sale for $4429!! ( mattress only, full retail $7299) thinking that this would be THE mattress to have a perfect night sleep on for years to come. Initially it was great, that lasted 6 mths. The body impressions created valley's in this mattress and the ultra plush just became ultra mush, it… Read more
lost its comfort in 6 mths!!! Of course this is not covered in any warranty (the body impressions are but they have to be ridiculously huge to be valid, the depressing customer service team would not care less.) It is basically your fault you bought a mattress with them with them, you can almost hear the contempt. If this is what their frontline customer service team is like imagine what the Management are like, thieving conspirators. Feel very let down especially when you think you are buying a quality product. The problem is the pillow top gets degraded with body impressions and that is the bit that needs replacing. Will never buy a Sleepmaker, Dunlopillo, Wonderest Sleepyhead mattress every again because I do not trust this unreputable company. They are selling overpriced, sub quality mattresses.

Sagging mattress – The Dunlopiilo Windsor Cushion Firm LE by sleepmaker is anything but firm. The springs sag and the pillow top has deep ruts in it. If you don't lay in the deep rut you can't lay flat it causes you to roll. Dreadful for your back . $3400, shocking waste of money. The Dunlopillo Rep at Myer lied and said it was a firm mattress. We specifically… Read more
requested a firm mattress as my husband has a bad back! Judging by the poor reviews she must have known that.
When approached 1 year later she said there was a problem with the springs sagging. 1st mattress replaced within 10 months, the second mattress was sent back at 11 months. If this mattress is also replaced it will be three mattresses in three years! Also, atrocious customer service from sleepmaker
Myer needs to cease selling this substandard brand and learn from their mistake

Terrible – I spent some time selecting this mattress which seemed comfortable on trying it in the shop. Also as it was said to be designed in conjunction with, tested and approved by the Chiropatacors Association of Australia. This mattress is the worse one I have ever slept on.I only gave it a one rating as I could not select a minus. It is worse than the… Read more
mattress it replaced. I am up in the middle of the night due to a sore back caused by this mattress from the Chiropactic collection.
can't live with it – i have got a sleepmaker matt, just rang them 2day,lets see what happens, let you know.got it from sleepy in capalaba qld. sag in the middle after 1year,1person sleeping on it
dunlipillo plush – seems sleepmaker/dunlopillo mattresss all sag in the middle. I tried to sleep on mine for 1 week. took them 3 weeks to replace it, the second mattress was as bad as the first. Have changed it for a sealy, lets see how this one is (when I get it, everything takes a week). Now thats customer service for you. A whole month on a mattress that is… Read more
worse than my original. My slat bed and the mattress are not compatable, that is what I have been told . Maybe we all need to be a lit bit more educated about which mattress goes with a slat bed, but not all slat beds are the same, different types, quality etc. I was able to return it to Myers due to their customer satisfaction policy. Not anything like the bed displayed in Myers
I too have this mattress. Because I paid so much I persisted with it. It is the worst expensive mattress I have slept on.
Terrible – Save your money and buy from some other bed manufacture. The company has a lot to learn how to look after there customers Once you take delivery of your bed there is NO way out it looked like what we were looking for We have the same bad experiance as the other reviewers. This bed is a BAD design. The company response to us was to sleep on the… Read more
slooped area in the middle to make it softer. We were mislead by the sales rep also at Myer in Sydney She was a Sleepmaker sales rep . She did not informed us on the bad design we lost 3500 dollars And looking for a new bed We had a problem with the design from day 1 My advice DO NOT BUY FROM SLEEPMAKER they do NOT look after you. There is not enough room to sleep on a queensize bed due to the sloop in the middle of teh bed
Terrible – We bought this bed 1 year ago. From day 1 we had a design problem. I went back to Myer were we bought the bed but they does not wants to know about our problem. We have a no 4 and no 2. When you have the softer side you actually roll out of bed. We told Sleepmaker about the poor design and they did nothing to solve it. DO NOT buy a Sleepmaker… Read more
bed. There customer service and R&D manager SUCKS they should be sacked if you ask me.
I am not finished with them and will again contact the management to complain about their product.
You can feel the 200mm ramp between the two sides, in other words one would have only 2/3 of half the bed and that is not a lot. It was the biggest and most expensive mistake we ever made.
the whole bed design
Terrible – After spending $4,500 on what was to be our dream king size bed we have found it is the worse bed ever. We sleep in bunkers every night as the mattress has sunken where we sleep and we have a huge hump in the middle. We also are not overweight. What everyone else has to say is totally true. Steer clear of Sleepmaker, they will be hearing from Consumer Protection soon as they are not willing to do anything about this problem. Has sagged
Ours too! They have replaced 3 mattresses in 2 years. We finally had enough and requested a refund… Read more
SleepBraker! – Yes, a perfect description for the King Size Dunlopillo Cosmo bed we purchased March 2012. It was just three nights sleeping on it when I would be awake with terrible lower back pain due to trenches appearing and a mountain between my husband and self! We were told by the Sleepmaker sales person in Myers, that this bed has a firm mattress. Tried… Read more
in shop, it was comfortable, however a very different story to the one that was delivered. I made a complaint to Myers and they sent Sleepmaker representative to look at mattress. He informed me that it had not been rotated and this needs to be done once a fortnight! I informed him that has I known, this heavy mattress was to be rotated on a fortnightly basis, I would not have considered purchasing it! We have resorted to sleeping in our spare room on a Sealy Posturpedic mattress, which does not cause the discomforted the SLEEPBRAKER does! After many calls of complaint, they are now going to pick the mattress up for a day to see if it is faulty. (How they can do this, without ripping it apart..I would not know! I have informed them not to return the mattress if they find it not faulty! I will keep you informed as to how we get on. Certainly, I will be making a complaint to the ACCC if we do not have any satisfaction from Sleepmaker!
Bad warranty service
Terrible – Do not go into hock to by this type of mattress as you will regret the initial outlay and waste of money due to sleep disturbed nights and sore backs The Mattress was at first comfortable for the forst one and a half years. we found that the mattress was extremely hot in and summer and cold in winter, and after the same period had passed my wife… Read more
noticed a distinct odour emanating from the bed, guess what it was the flaming mattress. This gorgeous mattress that set us back $3,000.00 was given away to a friend for a dog bed, my wife had to start sleeping on the floor as her back started playing up, i also found the same problem, we did spend quite a bit on chiropractors before sorting out the reason and problem.

Still being stonewalled. Happy to “repair” 3.2cm “body contouring” , but not 7.5cms. “ that’s the mattress working for you sir”. Total B.S!!!!
