unfortunately, you're not really spoilt for choice and pricing in this lovely state is an eye-sore without exaggerating.

Now this review is based on a purchase where I wanted a firm bed in accordance to the weblink provided, however upon closer inspection; it is however more in between medium and firm.

I've noticed from some other reviewers of Slumberland mattresses that there is a strong manufactured smell. Personally I have experienced this in general to all mattresses though after some time, it should subside.

Overall, the Brixton when compared to the 2 lesser models beneath it, has a 10 year warranty for both the mattress and the base. And being somewhat Australian made, it should I hope account for something.

Lastly, as I have noticed that there has been some other reviews clearly stating concerns about the Slumberland range; there are important factors that has not been properly mentioned. These are the reviewer's own physiological differences (height, weight, prior health conditions) and what's more the reviews are about the mattress-only.

Therefore the reviews are going to be lop-sided based on the reasons when testing the mattresses in-person at a shop; the mattresses themselves are sitting on bases, bed frames or an ensemble.

I am 184cm tall, I am between a mesomorph and endomorph body-type and I have spinal issues hence the reason for a firm mattress.

Time will tell of the bed will live up to its claim and reputation.
