Don't buy this – This has been just awful from the day I bought this cooker, food get's stuck between the glass oven door. The gas rings don't always light, 1 from new never worked. Smeg wont fix it under warranty so I suggest we all steer clear. Warranty doesn't exist. March 5th 2018 Update: No warranty I bought this in 2015, had a few problems 1st off no big deal gas not lighting etc. someone came out and it worked for a month or so, i didn't worry too much as i also use a wood cooker in winter. I wrote to the service dep and they eventually sent the same person out. (gas still not lighting debre in between oven glass door, the service guy said smegg would fix it. After 3 months or so, smegg said they wouldn't fix it. The gas nor any of the other problems.. let's not forget it was still under warranty can't complain about after sale service (didn't get any)... stay away from SMEGG!
I ended up having to buy a better product, Smeg told me i would have to pay for the parts and labour to fix the gas jet that wouldn't light, and for all other parts, and also arrange some one to fit them. Lets keep in mind it was still under warranty when they wore out !.. in disgust, i bought another brand. when some one else got onto me from smeg, it was to little to late. Don't buy Smeg service is just awful
Brand new and not working – I purchased this oven from Winning Appliances. Had it installed and hob worked but not the oven. Apparently the clock was faulty causing the oven not to work? Is this a problem with all Smeg ovens? I returned my product as was not willing to get a service call on a $3000 oven that I hadn't even used. Don't know what to buy now!
