Hi, I got the Smeg DWAU6214X4, and have an issue with the auto door opening bar, as it seems to be stuck and not going back in. It cause us to unable to close the door. Can you please advise what need to be done? Thank you.
Is there a quick wash on a DWAI6214X2. If not can you change any of the existing programs to a shorter time as there is no speed up option on my model
Hi Alex R, Unfortunately, this model doesn't have a short wash option. The shortest program is the ECO cycle which is 100 minutes. Regards Smeg
I have a Smeg DWAU214X Dishwasher and it does not heat the water. I have removed the water heater and checked it manually by plugging it directly into 240V and it heats ok so am not sure why it does not heat.

My dishwasher’s pump makes a continuous loud noise. The only way to stop it is to turn main power off. There is a red light on the panel as well, a new indicator. There is no flooding that I can see. Was working fine until yesterday. I’ve cleaned filter. This sounds like the aqua stop system has an issue. Or the pump is broken. Need to fix asap.

Have a SMEG dishwasher about 2+ years now. Has stopped working, power light is on but no other switches work. Model number is DWAU6214X Have done the reset and cleaned all the filters. What could be the problem, the error tab in the Manuel does not state anything. Can some one advise

My smeg dishwasher makes a loud grinding noise when it first starts and also just before it finishes the cycle. What could this be?

I was referring to similar to a drum clean in a washing machine.

When I turn on the machine, the function lights do not turn on. I believe the child lock is on, but after reading manual and holding down the child lock buttons for 3 seconds, the function lights remain off. Door can close without issue, nothing is obstructing the door from closing

Hi. My SMEG DWAU214X washes fine. However the water keeps dripping from the air break chamber opening inside the dishwasher and filling the bottom of the dishwasher. I have cleaned the pump and hoses and sink drain pipes etc. There doesn't appear to be any blockage. When I turn off the tap after the cycle it doesn't drip. Is this an air break fault or faulty Aquastop Safety Inlet hose which may be leaking? Thank you.

Hi, My SMEG DWAI6214X2 is two years + old and now door can't be closed. After reading some suggestions racks were re arrange but still issue is not resolved. Company warranty is just expired. Any suggestions please.

Hi Smeg supporting team, My 2 year old Smeg Dishwasher DWAU6214X2 also got same problem - cannot close the door. I also read the user manual and tried to solve the issue myself by reffering to troubleshooting tips on the page 37, but without any lucky.
I had checked the upper basket and it is level, and the rear feed has been firmly engaged, so it seems not the upper basket blocking the door closing.
Any suggestion how to solve it?

Thanks for calling me back with your fixing instruction. I did pull the trigger back then it flip over and get reset to normal. Then it works. The door can be closed now.

How did you fixed it? I called them, but they just asked me to get a technician.
When starting my dishwasher, the soak button started flashing and it beeped a fair few times. It sounds like the dishwasher is still running as there seems to be power noise behind it, but the beeping is abnormal. Should I be concerned?

We’ve just purchased an apartment with a DWAU214x dishwasher but have no instruction manual. I’ve tried running a hot cycle using a dishwasher cleaner and the dishwasher doesn’t seem to heat to a sufficient heat to dissolve the wax seal on the cleaner and the tablet is not dissolving. I then ran a cycle with a few dishes and the dishes are still wet at the end of the cycle. I’m guessing that the machine isn’t heating to a high enough temperature but it does heat to some extent. Any thoughts on what could be happening? Is it possible to get an instruction and troubleshooting manual?
