Immediate Issues With Part Falling Off – Immediate issues with this dishwasher after installing ,the metal plate that covers the switches and lights control panel lifted and fell off rendering our dishwasher useless due to water and moisture getting into electrics we have not used it in 7 years . Contacted Smeg numerous times to fix ,Smeg never reply or want to fix the problem when contacted directly always blown off and directed to another number . Expensive unit now reduced to a looking at item. Don’t fall for the Smeg dream of owning their appliances your dream becomes a nightmare and you get absolutely no assistance when it goes pear shaped. Although we have had this unit for quite a while the fact remains it has not been used in years due to the panel and Smeg casting us aside once they got the cash after purchase. Smeg are full of empty promises !
