Visually good. Initial issue resolved quickly – Overall very happy despite an initial teething issue which was resolved within 24 hours. Looked great in the store. Oven was dead on arrival, gas cooktop works though. Smeg organised a next-day in home repair, which is excellent after sales service and was quickly resolved by their technician. Gas burners are powerful, but as noted by another reviewer the included stainless-steel wok stand included is pretty woeful and glows red-hot when used. We will purchase an aftermarket replacement in cast iron, not comfortable using that piece.

Design wise very appealing. Something we didn’t realise at the shop was only 1 wire baking rack is included, not 2. Includes a 2 of the solid ones but if you bake a lot a lot you will need to buy an aftermarket 2nd wire rack.

Our Installer, who was not affiliated with Smeg, noted this particular issue of oven not working is a somewhat common fault with them and caused by the clock itself not working, which controls the oven on/off even when no timer is in use. Other than that his advise was “he would happily buy one” as they are very reliable.

Replacement for older stove – Looks wonderful. Nice quality . Cooks well , easy to operate, oven heats up fast . However the cheep flimsy wok burner lets the quality down . Also needs more than one wire oven shelf /rack . The lead to plug in the oven could be slightly longer . Didn’t reach to my power point in the cubard next to oven . Also does not come with the gas lead conector.
