If you could do negative stars I would. Sold the dream of “no power bills.” Delivered the exact opposite. Our battery appears to charge from the grid, we’ve had THREE street fuse blowouts (which Energex said is not normal), and our electricity bills are now over $200 a week. We’ve spent months chasing them with calls and emails. Responses are rare, action is nonexistent, and no one has actually come to inspect the system.

At this point we’re paying for solar AND full electricity bills. Make that make sense. Complaint lodged with office of fair trading and legal advice sought.

Do not go with this Company. I have been waiting since the 10th March for battery insulation. Rang at 7.45 to advise it would not be happening. Said they would contact me. Never did. I just kept ringing finally they said 12 o'clock on the 20th March didn't happen. The guy rang and said he couldn't make it on would be here on the Saturday 21st. He did turn up did put batteries up. But wrong plug sent to connect the system. Guess no calls nothing from them. So we rang the Sydney office no one knew anything about a part. They had to chase it up. So still waiting. Still phoning sending emails. No response ignoring our calls. Finally part ordered last week arrived Friday. So we are back to ringing to see when job will be finalised. Getting the run around again. My concern is what will happen once your batteries or Solar panels are up and than a couple of months down the track you have problems. Warning do not expect any assistance or calls you will be left with a headache and stress. I did pay most of it in cash. Now off to get legal assistance to get my money back. They have no customer service no one knows what they are doing. One very unhappy customer and I will be spreading the word so other people do not get treated this way.

Really disappointed and angry with Solar Harbour. I signed up and paid $500 deposit. I then changed my mind within the 10 days cooling off period because of poor communication and not giving me the information required for bank loan. They have refused to refund it essentially stealing it from a family in the lead up to Christmas. They have ignored all calls and emails. The last time I spoke to the salesman hey gave me the ultimatum of you either lose your deposit or you go ahead with the install. As if I would go ahead with these gangster tactics. Avoid Solar Harbour there are far more reputable companies out there.
