Rollercoaster ride with this mob. Signed contract in July 25, installed battery in Oct 25, final works completed in February 26 and in May 26 the battery was finally connected.. It took this mob 10 months... continuous contact and the same excuses made... and then my last point of call was to contact Energy Safe Victoria.. My battery was finally connected. Show details

Avoid going with Solar Masters, I ordered/signed contract/paid deposit December 2025. I had my install booked in for Monday 23/3/26, but on the Friday 20th received an email saying my job was cancelled because my roof was too steep. The contract states roofs over 23 degrees may incur additional installation cost not total cancellation and my roof… Read more
is 21 degrees. I have since emailed the company with no reply and told to deal with [Name Removed]. Well that’s extremely hard to do as he doesn’t return any of my calls/emails. Do not trust this company. They still haven’t returned my deposit!! Stay clear of Solar masters!!!
Its regretful that this company, in our experience, is all about landing a sale and extracting a deposit but when it comes to delivering and keeping a customer in the loop they drop the ball. By dropping the ball I mean they won't return calls,… Read more
despite sincere promises to do so , or answer question about delivery time frames and installations via any other medium. Its a real concern that they wont answer or engage with me ....I have to ask!! , Are they selling a product and service they don't actually have or cannot deliver...else why not simply call the customer and explain the reason why a delivery and install has not been made and seek an agreement with me that is mutually agreeable....or is it that the quote was so "GOOD" to win the deal, and now they don't wont to honor it and are hoping I go away with a promise of a refund
Follow-up · Well, it off to Fair trading I go They continue to promise delivery, but when the day arrives, sorry we have no stock...we expect stock to come in in a few, (days, weeks, months) They won't respond to email asking for specific dates nor will the engage in any meaning fully dialog. Management push complaints back to sales or ignore request to speak with supervisors or managers...

I had a signed a contract with solarmasters for the installation of a KH10 inverter and and ESC4800 H6 27.96kWh battery. My invoice is [Details Removed] installation in [Details Removed]. In the contract it stated "connect emergency supply to all… Read more
circuits" and "network cable ( no wifi) for connection to the modem". Three days before installation they ([Name Removed]) called me to tell me that connection to all circuits for emergency backup was not possible due to compliance issues : my incoming cable to the meterbox needed to be 16 mm in diameter to connect them. That incoming cable of course is not used during power outage/emergency backup.... The number of circuits to connect for emergency backup depends on the max Amps of the emergency backup device that kicks in when the power fails. Mine is 45 AMP and that is not enouhg for stoof, hot water and aircon. They also did not connect the inverter with the network cable because this inverter does not come with a network plug. Solarmaster say they are engineers but they are very pushy sales guys with not much knowledge about there product. They have no issues breaking written contracts. Stay away from these [Content Removed].
Follow-up · The equipment installed was as per contract. Solarmaster did not offer alternative backup. They prefer to install a standard system. The inverter installed from Fox only comes with Wifi so no network cable connection possible. I checked that with the Fox importer. I prefer a cable since the connection is reliable. No need to reset the connection… Read more

While Solar Masters price is competitive, there after sales service to me were average. The solar installation was completed, but within 3 months due to rain, the roof leaked through the wiring dectite and damaged the ceiling of my brand-new home. The roof eventually got fixed by the installer, and the water damage to the ceiling has yet to be… Read more · 2
fixed, it has been almost 6 months, emails to Stella Rose remain unanswered. My property manager was also unsuccessful with Stella Rose even after we provided the repair quote.
Update, The company has messaged to fix the issue, the installer will get this fixed.
Update 2, The Installer is not responding nor the company, to take responsibility to fix the repairs.
Update 3, This has been finally resolved by the company, the manager has given me assurance that i will pay for the repairs and it will be reimbursed by the installer.
Stella coordinated with me and kept me in loop on every step. The inverter got faulty after few days of installation but she helped promptly to resolve the issue.
These guys are crooks. Took my deposit and never done anything for almost a year. I have been trying to get my deposit back but they never returned them.

Great service by Solar Master – I have got the solar panels and battery installed from Solar Master, very responsive and great after service, especially Harry and Tanya from Solar Master are very knowledgeable members is the team. GJ guys
ABSOLUTELY DISASTROUS EXPEREINCE – THEY WASTED FOUR WEEKS OF MY TIME! – They advertise a 13.2 kW system at $3,899 but the advertised price is definitely Plus Plus. Mine, with a better inverter, 4559, two-storey penalty, and removal of our old system, came out at $5,990. I was okay with that, the guy was a knowledgeable salesman. A few hiccups and delays – communication was not nearly as good once we had signed the… Read more
contract. Installation was finally scheduled for last Monday. After hearing nothing all day and four calls, the install team, four Chinese guys not speaking any English, showed up late at 4:00pm, took a look around, and promptly demanded an extra $850.00 for some data cables that supposedly weren't in the contract. I told them where they could stick it and they promptly tried to leave without even saying anything. Tore up and damaged my gravel driveway. Not happy. Just heard that Solar Masters have cancelled my contract without any explanation. Waste of four weeks of my time. You try and deal with a reputable company and they sub it out to a bunch of shysters. BEWARE OF SOLAR MASTERS – THEIR SUBCONTRACTED CHINESE INSTALLATION TEAM IS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE TO YOUR COMPANY. SCAMMERS!
