Solar Panels Australia
3 reviews
Solar nightmare – There are serious problems with Asian manufactured solar panels I have had nothing but repeated cell failure due to water intake or if not water intake its dielectric failure with the last solar cells in the electrical series of eight panels. The practice of obtaining maximum efficiency from the inverter is to electrically series up every eight solar panels. The figures on this practice is as this example, for example 35 volt direct current at 250 watts per panel when series up in batches of eight will give an output of 280 volts D C at 2000 watts of electrical power. Around each solar panel is an aluminium frame and at the bottom right hand corner of each panel is its highest potential for electrical failure due to it been the last cell in series at a sharp point of an aluminium frame. This is always the point where that particular solar cell breaks down by shorting to its own aluminium frame which has to be earthed under the ASA electrical standards of Australia. Now I have done a little research, for example if the Asians cannot get all of the impurities out of the silicon which is one of the main ingredients in the construction of solar cells, then the dielectric strength of such cells will be below standard and ultimately lead to a failure. I have totally given up on having solar electricity grid connected and I have had it switched off for 8 months since its last electrical failure and my back yard now has 24 spare panels that will all end up the same if this fault is not fixed.

Solar was so easy – Truvalue were prompt with setup and quick with installation, from sign up to installed in under 4 weeks. Tested by others on time and on grid took longest due to our power company but still very happy with the service. Just waiting to see how much it saves me as installed in winter months but can see savings on amount generated by system already. Have now received our summer bill, quite a saving on our previous summer bill, very impressed.
Tru Value Solar – Great trades men, great communication , got first electricity and omg only $60 normally $300.....even got my friend to sign up for Solar threw this company ......
