Excellent, best of its time – Bought this for my 30th birthday back then, still have it and it still works. I am using it as a music player with my SONY WH1000X-4 via 2,5->3,5mm jack connector and there is no better player short of $2000 that can play so well and organically. Totally vinyl sound, they have used some crazy huge chip under a metal shield back then - they cared to make music hi-fi back then.

Purchased in for $499.

OK – this was a good first phone for me, but no i plan on getting something with a camera as this phone is very basic. cheap, and does all the basic things you need a phone to do. small, and fits in pocket. no camera, not enough memory for text messages.

Excellent – I was using it for almost 3.5 years, and was very satisfied with the smart phone. I think it can become a good companion even for a personal (non-business) user. This is my very first smart phone, and I like it very much. At that time there was not many smart phone options. I like the fact that it's touch screen, you can use memory card. There are various applications and games that you can buy on the net to enhance this smart phone, but all applications that come with the phone (when you purchase it) are enough to organize your day-to-day activities. Battery performance were great and I did not encounter any issue with the battery. It's keyboard is not easy to use (I would rather to use its virtual keyboard). The fact that if you open up an application (such as games, etc) and close it, that application will stay running in the background, this will slow down the phone and drain up your battery. You will have to install another application that allows you to close all unnecessary applications that are running in the background.
