Sony Ericsson W910i (2007)

Good – The W910i has a long lasting battery, as I use my phone everyday to play MP3's via bluetooth in my car stereo and it works a treat. It has a big screen for a small light phone. I really like the matte finish as it doesn't show fingerprints. I have a habit of playing with the slider and after having it for 3 years it still slides like normal. This… Read more
is the best phone I've had. The only annoying issue is how it randomly restarts itself. Long lasting battery, big screen, light, matte finish, durable The phone randomly turns itself off and on
OK – The only real reason to buy this mobile is if you like the look and desire a degree of customisability. When first released the quality of sound present when playing music was a plus, however there are now newer mobiles that do a better job and are less buggy. The battery only needs to be charged once a week, and often is fully charged after being… Read more
plugged in for 3 or so hours. The phone includes very nice patterned backgrounds that glow and really make the phone feel unique. The phone locks itself very quickly, meaning that if you pause for even a moment then you need to unlock again. Other reviews talk about shaking the phone to change songs, however after the first week my mobile never did this. After a year and a half the mobile is having some issues - it is sluggish in responding, and occasionally freezes up completely.
Good – The Sony Ericsson W910i is a great phone, with many different applications. It is a very stylish phone for people who like a bit of style. Comes in two different colours, red and black. Has a great music player, can hold over 150 songs which is a bonus. Motion senser to change songs whenever you like. This phone has great battery life, and tells… Read more
you the percentage of battery it has left so you wont ever be left with out knowing when you need to charge your phone. Great settings. Your able to change the themes you have and customize your phone the way you like. This is a great product, a great phone and excellent music player. I recommend it to teenages and adults. Big screen, many applications, built in walkman, light weight, small and compact, great colour, good looking phone, motion senser to change song and play games. It shuts down automatically.
Good – When i purchased this phone about a year ago I knew what to expect having previously owned a Sony Ericsson Walkman and i certainly wasn't disappointed. I was really happy with the large screen and other functions of the phone such as the Walkman function, the accelerometer which although i thought was kind of pointless at the start I now find to… Read more
be a valuable addition as it is usable in many applications. Syncing music and video to my phone was a breeze from my computer using windows media player. A wide array of downloadable themes also allowed me to customize my phone's look. The only drawbacks include a recurring problem with the phone restarting, turning off and on after a minute or so which seems to be a common occurrence with these phones. Overall I would gladly recommend this phone based on it's style, look the many functions it provides as well as for it's phone and somewhat limited internet capabilities. Great for both teenagers and adults but not something I would not recommend for Grandma. Big screen, many uses, real bang for your buck, walkman music player Erratic behavior including restarting and freezing
Good – This is our daughter's phone. It has great texting, a decent battery life and a very clear reception. Ours is black and looks very smart. In our family the kids have nicer phones than us parents but then they are the ones who are style conscious. This phone definitely wins the style vote. It has a lovely screen, a nice case and a very smooth… Read more
slider with no freeplay. The walkman features is really cool and apart from the quirky and subpar music loading software it is a great portable mp3 solution. The one caveat is that the headphone requires a proprietary jack which takes some of the gloss off the phone. So I would hesitate to recommend it highly as an mp3 player but would give it a thumbs up as a phone. Lovely screen, very good looking, great quality, lovely smooth slider, nice sound quality, unique features Software to load music is rather clunky and slow to load songs, proprietary coonector for earphones, no flash for camera
Excellent – This phone is more like a music player, and I love it! You can hold thousands of songs, and there's a button you can hold down and shake to change songs. The camera quality is ok. I like the slider, it slides well and looks very sleek. I really like how you can shake it to choose a new song. There's huge memory. The sound is fantastic, and I like… Read more
to look of the phone too. I hate the earphones! It's annoying how it's different from other phones, so if you lose them it's much harder to get a replacement.
Good – At the moment I own this phone in red and absolutely adore it. The features on the phone are enabled for the user's comfort an I am satisfied with the slim and slide construction. This phone is a walkman, which means it is a great phone to hold loads of music. You can use can excellent shuffle effect where you just shake the phone and it'll skip… Read more
the song. I find this technique to be difficult as it does not operate the appropriate way, and is difficult to control. Overall, this phone is one of the best I have ever had. I love the ability it has with music. I also adore the way the phone can switch from vertical view, to horizontal. The editing of photos is excellent in which you can define and constrast the various aspects of colour. I dislike the quality of the camera, as in some areas the camera's quality is excellent; however in others it can be a difficult hassle.
Excellent – I really enjoyed using this phone and had no real problems with it the entire time. It was fun to use, kept on finding little things that it did the whole time - but the best thing is the design - slim, stylish & funky. I don't agree with the other users - this phone I found to be very reliable - you just need to re-set it - as you do with most… Read more
phones these days as they are like mini computers. I have had this phone for 18 months, and just upgraded to the W705 as Optus let me. I LOVED this phone - great design - small & slim, excellent screen resolution, lots of features - like the 'shake' function. The texture of the phone is great and the Sony menu is very intuitive. Optus has it for $199 on pre-paid which is a great deal. Good battery life - only had to charge it twice a week. Slide mechanism great - smooth & well built. No light built in, the workings of the phone can be slow - going from function to function. Occasionally it would freeze (which means taking out the battery) - but I found this stopped if you switch the phone off manually every week to re-set it.
Terrible – I have become so sick and tired of this phone freezing up all the time that i'm ready to throw it in the bin. I have always loved sony ericsson phones, i've thought they were great phones with better features than nokia. But after having this lemon i am beginning to change my mind. Just save yourself the hassle, don't but one of these because… Read more
within a couple of months you will definitely regret it. the look of the phone. aside from that, not much anymore! Phone freezes up and the only way to reset is to take the battery out!! The alarm clock only works when it feels like it, so i cannot rely on it that's for sure! Really crappy ringtones,Battery doesn't seem to last long at all. Speaker phone feature VERY hard to hear.
Bad – Has a lot of features although because i only have a prepaid sim i do not get the full use of the mobile phone. I love all of the music features, except for the shake fuction which is okay but seriously overrated. Would like it better without the rest problems the ability to play your own music. I like the look of the phone being thin and… Read more
especially the slide phone style. mine seems to have some sort of a problem were it resets itself sometimes, and on several occasions it has reset so much that the only way to stop it is to take the battery out.
