Does the Job – Like many I wanted a dual SIM phone so I did not have to carry around a work and home phone. The Sony is clear and easy to read and does many things other Android phones do What has brought the rating down for me is a couple of things. My phone often is unresponsive to touch and it can be frustrating pushing away to get a call. But this may not… Read more

be problem with other phones

I don't like the message software and because it is a dual SIM there is no real alternative for androids that I can find that works with dual SIM. Other message apps default to SIM 1 when sending out texts. Perhaps there is an alternative but I have not found it

The other thing I don't like is that there is no prompt about which SIM to use just before I make a call or send a text. This has meant many a call or text sent from the wrong SIM . I had a cheap brand dual SIM from another manufacturer that prompted me to chose which SIM i wanted to use after i had pressed the ring or send button. I liked that feature.

There is nothing wrong with this phone in general terms just some minor things that do not suite me Size, feel and dual SIM Often unresponsive to touch

Sony Xperia Tipo Dual SIM – Neat little phone. Very easy to use and runs on Android Ice Cream sandwich. Plenty of memory available which is also expandable with a micro SD card for all your music and pictures. The camera takes a good photo but does not have a flash for night use - probably the only downfall for me. Comes setup with all the standard features you would expect… Read more

on a phone today such as Google search, weather app and an easily accessible WiFi / bluetooth / airplane mode command page.

The dual SIM option is the reason I bought this phone rather than carrying a work and a personal phone. Either SIM can be selected to send calls and texts and can be changed easily by the press of a button on the side of the phone or in the setup menu can be set automatically on a time schedule. Both SIMs can recieve calls and texts all the time and you also have the option to turn either SIM off when you dont want to be disturbed on the one number only (such as the work phone on weekends). Battery life is very impressive lasting usually a 4 - 7 days pending on usage. For gamers, all apps I have run so far have not had any issues and seem to run very smoothly.

The screen is also anti scratch and I leave it in my pocket with keys etc and it has no marks after about 1 year. Not as big as some competitiors such as the Galaxy so you may wish to check this if screen size is important. I've also dropped it a few times and it has not missed a beat Dual SIM, anti scratch screen, Android, long battery life No camera flash
